Raymond Island is well known for the Koala walk where you walk the streets and amongst the houses in the gardens you look out for the Koalas. Waffles will be a fun little memory for the kids. 16.01.2022 In between these extreme East Gippsland fire days some how the NEW YEARS EVE PAYNESVILLE FIREWORKS event still went ahead. Well the fireworks didnt happen due to all the fires in the area but the organisers kept what ended up a quiet night to the normal beach packed night still a fun event for the kids. A new Marque was purchased and the new night lights worked a treat making all the rocks glisten and sparkle. A great success for Rock Fantasies first night time market and what can I say but thank you to all my customers, admires of the Rocks and Art Stones. Great fun and so many people we met being admirers of the rocks.." So colourful" was the most common remarks followed by "how did you make them?" Science and 3 weeks to complete each one... 14.01.2022 ROCK FANTASIES HAS GONE VERTICAL Thanks to Daryl I now have a new way to display ROCK FANTASIES. Some times at the makers markets you only get a 2 metre table site with no side tables and the Rock Fantasies range has grown so fast it was hard to work out how to achieve a good display with variety.... So the 2 heads got together and with the wonderful support of Daryl who's quite handy we came up with the best set up ever. So the BIG TEST will be at the Bairnsdale Makers Market this Saturday. 11.01.2022 SO MANY CORDS . SO MANY ROCKS TO THREAD!!! It's been 8 months of Covid since my last post. Plus to top it off before Covid our beautiful East Gippsland had the devistating BUSHFIRES. 1 year of what seemed the never ending survival challenge. Everyone just seemed to disappear. The fun social craft markets closed and boy did Daryl and I miss you all. I just lost my creative juices, and my MO JO as they say, everything got packed up and we just got unfit and boy did the ...weight pile on. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel and ROCK FANTASIES finally is back. 11.01.2022 THANKS TATHRA NSW. Rock Fantasies had a practice run at its first official market at the Tathra Rockabilly Festival show and shine market. I needed to check my quick set up and listen to comments from all the brousers who excitedly turned into buyers. (research needed to be done for possible future pre Xmas markets)... It was a Huge success so many necklace colours purchased and the kids just loved the childrens range. The exciting part is so many strangers just want to wear my art stones and admire and ask how I create them. So its encouraged me now to do more markets in my local East Gippsland Vic area and have another go. The next one will be with Pixie Violet at The Pixie Palace Stall at the Bairnsdale Market on Sunday 22nd September. See you there..
