18.01.2022 Had a little bit of time after I got home from work today before I head out to carmens to set up for tomorrow’s gig, managed to cut a few tiles and throw em up! Really utilising every spare minute to get this operational.
07.01.2022 Worked out pretty quickly that wiring the lighting is a 2 person job!! So I grabbed a beer and started the stack stone wall, have pretty much got as far as I can without breaking out the tile cutter... save that for day time.
05.01.2022 Applied some touch up painting, started installing lighting, and some other final touches last night, tonight wiring up the lighting, and starting the stack stone wall. The last stages are taking a little longer than hoped but we are working through the nights to get this over the line.
04.01.2022 Down to the last stages now, it seems the closer you get to the finish, the further away it seems!! Painting is 99% complete, now time to switch to the tilers hat and put up some stack stone tiles... then switch to the electricians hat and install the lighting. Implementing acoustic treatment will happen over the next few months but by bit, but almost ready for tracking. Our friends and family have been an amazing help, too many to mention, however you know who you are and we thank you all very much. Official launch and open day will be set soon for sometime in the next month.
02.01.2022 Well...we finally did it. I don’t think the crew here at ROCK-IT MAN STUDIOS ever thought this day would come but today we moved in. This space has been five years in the making and could not be possible without the blood, sweat and tears of so many people. We will be sharing this space with our other two industry businesses KJ Studios and Monkey Wrench Australia and we look forward to much collaboration with so many of our talented colleagues. Stay tuned for more updates a...nd info regarding our studio open day. For now we will continue to put the finishing touches on our new space.
