25.01.2022 WIN OUR LAST BAG OF GARLIC We are officially SOLD OUT of Garlic! (Only realising at the last minute that we better save some for ourselves!) We have all of our cloves put aside for planting next month (all 12,000 of them!) and our rows are turned over and ready to go. So we just wanted to thank you all for your support and thought we’d GIVE AWAY the last 500g to a lucky winner.... ... 24.01.2022 We apologise for taking so long to get this out to everybody. Disappointingly after an excellent year of growing and a harvest of big and beautiful bulbs, we have lost most of this years crop. We have had an issue with what we think is ‘waxy breakdown’ as well as some mould issues that has unfortunately affected probably 50-75% of the entire crop. It’s not certain what causes ‘waxy breakdown’ but it is believed that it is likely to be too much heat while in the ground, too ho...t once harvested or lack of ventilation while curing, and the heat this year was definitely not on our side! It’s not belived to be a disease or bacteria so that is a relief! We are currently working our way through it all to save what we can, we will have some for sale at a heavily reduced price but it will take some time to sort through it all. What has cured well still has some great flavour and reasonable size but may have 1 or 2 cloves in the bulb that has been affected, others are completely untouched. We will let you know what will be available soon if your interested in some cheap garlic and we will plant again and hope for a good run next year Cheers

20.01.2022 Not long to go now! 2020 crop is coming along well and we hope for a great harvest this year! A couple more months and we will have some very tasty fresh Australian red garlic ready to go! We are definitely looking forward to it!!

19.01.2022 We are getting close to harvest time again! The garlic has moved to its bulbing stage and with some changes to how we grew this year it looks like we should have some real nice big bulbs! Fingers crossed!

09.01.2022 Hello fellow garlic lovers WE NOW HAVE GARLIC FOR SALE!! We had a great garlic crop this year but unfortunately we have been affected by early season extr...eme heat just before harvest. This seems to have been a problem for other garlic growers also. We have thoroughly sorted through our produce and have eliminated all of the affected bulbs, however there may still be the odd clove here and there with some damage. We have taste tested many cloves and can assure you that our Australian Red Garlic is still high quality, organically grown and very tasty!! This year we are selling 1kg bags for $25 or a 5kg box for $100 (see photo, your garlic will last for a few months if stored correctly and can be used as seed stock if not used up) Please send us a message to place your order and I will be in touch to organise a time for delivery (location dependent) or pick up over the next couple of weeks. 02.01.2022 Australian Red Garlic now for sale! Thanks to everyone for being patient with us, after some issues with our garlic during the curing process we have finally been able to go through it all and have removed all the affected stock, unfortunately we lost all of our big bulbs but these smaller bulbs are delicious and great for cooking. Garlic sowing time is fast approaching and they will also be great as seed garlic. ... We would like to offer this organically grown garlic for $8/500g (pictured) or $15/kg. 01.01.2022 2019 Australian red all planted! Already growing like mad after only 1 week! We have scaled back a little this year with around 12000 cloves planted, we are also trying out ‘weed gunnel’ to help reduce time weeding and reduce competition for the garlic. Fingers crossed for a great 2019 season!
