14.04.2022 Hey everyone, just a personal message to you all. Thanks so much for your support this year with Rock the Ranges, this event will grow each year and it’s all because of your support. COVID has been very hard to work with, but we managed to safely keep this event going! So until next October, stay and have a very merry Christmas and new year. Also a huge thanks to my hard working team, they always go above and beyond for me. Cheers John. Event Director ... 15.01.2022 It goes without saying that ROCK THE RANGES was a massive success! Even with COVID restrictions and record-breaking rain the day before you all took it in your stride to enjoy a day of LIVE MUSIC! Firstly, thank you to the RTR support staff & crew: Swerdy Sverdloff, David Hughes, Ben VanBoekel, Amy Lecons and my right (and left) hand Taylor Gray they all worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure every element of the day ran without a hitch.... Our sponsors The Flinders Ranges Council and Transcontinental Hotel, Quorn, without their support, an event such as this is all the much harder to put on. And to our media partners, Southern Cross Austereo, Magic 1059, 5CS Classic Hits, 5AU Classic Hits and Freebird Social Media helped spread the word to make sure this event was on your radar! To our food vendors, who kept you (and our crew) well-nourished, caffeinated and hydrated throughout the day: Strawberries Galore Adelaide and Oakbank, Two Fat Blokes Pizza Mobile Catering Service Kieran's Kitchen, Corral Coffee and Quorn Pistol and Shooting Club who manned the bar all day. Without the bands, there is no concert, and we were blessed to have such amazing SA talent on the line-up! Caitlin Drew - Music, Critical Limit, Hooligans, The Cut Snakes and the Zep Boys - keep showing your support for these musicians by following their social pages. Our emcee for the day, Andy Seymour; the sound guys, Frank Castel and Nick Swerdloff; Jordan and Bodie from FSR Industries - Media House for taking Rock the Ranges to the entire globe via the live stream; Steve from Scouts SA for the outdoor screen and to the team at A2 Security thank you! Lastly, a BIG thank you to everyone who #rockedthetranges without you this day just wouldn’t happen. Your feedback on the day and on our socials since has been beautifully warming to hear and see.
