13.01.2022 It’s been an exciting and stressful 10 days at RCG with the blanket Ai program ending in a success! From semen being lost, products hard to come by and trying to get it all done before work of a morning we have finished.....finally! It’s an exciting time ahead with some new and experimental genetics thrown in the mix! We are very keen for Sept 2019!

07.01.2022 For sale is a 14-15 month old Gelbvieh bull, he is a quiet, long and thick young sire. He is the first bull to be offered sired by Sunshine Krypton (grand champion bull of Sydney royal and also Brisbane royal shows) out of a complete out cross Canadian embryo mother. She shows great characteristics with plenty of milk. This young sire will be perfect for heifers next breeding season! With his smooth shoulders length of body and width he will make a great addition to any herd.... He has a low birth weight and a high growth rate. Strong bone, good feet and plenty of hind quarter especially when you get behind him. For his age he has a huge scrotal circumference and expresses great reproductive soundness. Normally I’d keep my bulls until working age (around 20 months) but unfortunately I lost the paddock I was adjisting for my young bulls and he must go! We currently have 3 Red Kelpie pups that need to find a home, unfortunately we cant keep them all with us so we are on the hunt to find them the perfect homes Our 3 gorgeous pups are working bred, the Dam is a Purebred Red and Tan Kelpie, the sire is a Red Kelpie with a dash of collie in his background. This is where the white has come through.... We have 2 males and 1 female available, all will be wormed, fleed and vaccinated, we can have them microchipped once we have the new owners information. Asking $600 All pups have outstanding disposition and we find very intelligent and full of potential. Please feel free to message the page for more information about the pups. Krypton was shown along side "Gem" as a cow and calf unit, Placing top 5 at Beef 2015. Interbreed champion at Gympie show 2015. Krypton is currently our heard sire, so far he has produced us 3 exceptional calves, 1 heifer (red) and 2 bulls (red and black) and all polled. All calves are structurally sound with exceptional carcasses and softness. As he is himself. He is extremely docile, we can catch him and put a halter on in an open paddock. And he has a gorgeous polled head He is currently still around the show circuit. He has won: Any other breeds, supreme exhibit - Sydney royal 2016 and highly regarded in interbreed. Supreme Gelbvieh exhibit - Brisbane Royal 2016 Local interbreed champion and always placed as champion Gelbvieh bull within the breed sections. He will be heading off to Armidale show this weekend to compete. He scanned 139 EMA at Brisbane royal 2016 and weighed in just under the tonne at 19 months old. He currently is 25 months. He can be weight if asked.
