24.01.2022 Well I haven’t posted much on here lately as we have been waiting to see what the latest would be with the current crisis we are all in. As expected our festival at Terara has been called off and a few other events we were to perform at. During this time of extreme uncertainty I think we all need to take care of each other, look out for our neighbours and try not to panic too much. We had 3 overseas holidays planned for 2020 and at this stage our first one next month is in th...e middle of being cancelled. We were so excited to be performing at Terara for the first time and taking our grandchildren Lachie & Georgia to perform one evening as ‘the Owen family’ Hopefully this will happen next time. Seeing as we were heading off up to NSW I think we will still pack up our van and head to a quiet river somewhere to, fish, read books, sit by a campfire, play guitar and maybe even write a song or two. 23.01.2022 A big shout to Gippsland FM and The Country Crew for playing great country music from 9-11am Monday to Friday. We can’t get out and play our music live just yet but it’s great to have the support of the Country Crew playing great music from so many wonderful artists. Thanks also for your support playing music from our CD ‘Where Country Is’. Just heard our song ‘I Heard the Bluebird Sing’ Recently ‘Down at the Twist & Shout’ and my version of ‘Saddle Boy’ .Thanks again for all your support. Hope everyone is keeping well. We miss you all and hope to see you somewhere down the track. Take care R&R.

22.01.2022 Can’t speak highly enough about the Terara Campout Music Campout - such a great Festival. Unfortunately the terrible weather was against us. We finished up late Saturday arvo instead of the Sunday night. Lachie & Georgia did such an amazing job with their sets but the highlight for us was the opportunity to perform for the first time as ‘The Owen family’ We performed a 1 3/4 hour concert on the Friday night. Very proud moment for us.

19.01.2022 Looking forward to tonight at the Balladeers Homestead at 5.30 - Lachie & Georgia are performing followed straight after by Rod & I. Then it’s on to Diggers West’s for Lachie & Georgias performance at the final of West’s Aristocrat Country Entertainer of the Year at 7pm.
