23.01.2022 This VW Polo needed a bit of TLC in all aspects to get it ready for sale! The paint, upholstery, wheels were particularly tough to clean! 23.01.2022 This BLACK Mitsubishi ASX was looking a bit sad . Absolutely covered in swirl marks/scratches, and oxidation! 22.01.2022 This job was started by me last night, and complete by this afternoon Phew! This Prado, an ex mining vehicle, had copious paint contaminants mainly iron, some of which had rusted (appear as small red dots in the paint).. this iron is not uncommon! in fact, you'll likely have atleast a bit on your own vehicle The body also had a lot of 'ghosting' from the stickers that were previously removed. To top it off, the oxidation had also progressed quite badly These factors ...all contribute to the matte, dull, look of the paint. 21.01.2022 This Monaro had a lot of oxidation in the paint that meant it was in dire need of a cut & polish! (By yours truly of course ). A common question I am asked is "why does the bonnet & roof suffer the most?" 21.01.2022 This Commodore was used as a courtesy car for M.R Automotive and they wanted me to spruce it up! So I gave the flat looking paint a big cut & polish then put a premium sealant/wax hybrid on it. 18.01.2022 This Ford Ranger had oxidation, iron contamination, overspray, and road tar all over it! This car needed to be prepped for sale ASAP and it looked a bit too rough for a quick sale! 18.01.2022 This Triton was absolutely covered in iron contamination (fairly common), and some overspray from new construction in the area So the process was to decontaminate the iron from the paint with special chemicals, then use a clay bar to remove all the overspray paint With the paint smooth, it was time to cut and polish the paint to remove fine scratches and some light oxidation/dullness and bring out that mirror shine!! 17.01.2022 This Mazda had a lot of oxidation and water etch marks on the bonnet and roof! They were unsightly & degraded the value of the vehicle.. not to mention, without any protection it would only get worse until the clear coat is too far gone! That's where I come in! 15.01.2022 This Holden Colorado in had experienced the worst of the UV rays that the sun had to offer The paint actually looked on the verge of needing a respray, and many people would just simply go ahead with a respray without a second thought! $$$ The oxidation was severe, and the scratches and swirls plentiful! 15.01.2022 This is the El Grande, an import that you don't see every day! As with all Black cars, it's important to protect the paint from oxidation- last time I used my infrared thermometer on a black car in the sun, the temperature was above 80 degrees C!! 15.01.2022 This gem needed a bit of a spruce up to really make the metallic flakes pop in this signature nitro blue paintwork I gave it a thorough clay barring to decontaminate the paintwork before a cut & polish. 13.01.2022 Amongst the madness I stand my ground to put the utmost attention to detail into both santising your car and making it look a million bucks! 13.01.2022 This car had been stored for near a year and in the meantime, grew mold throughout the leather seats and carpets! I knew removing mold from leather seats for good might take chemicals that could dry the leather, so I fully conditioned the seats afterwards I then shampooed and machine extracted the carpets The reasoning to get this done is the perfect example, if your starting a new family and you want to get rid of allergens deep embedded in car seats and carpets, a shampoo extraction is a great idea! 07.01.2022 This Hilux has been thoroughly used and abused, but in true Hilux fashion, still runs fine! Had rust stains, oil stains, dull paint and oxidation... but I gave it a cut & polish and brought back some life and shine into the old girl! at some point some catastrophe must've happened in the engine bay so I (with lots of elbow grease!) 02.01.2022 This XC Falcon is a beautiful colour, especially under the fading and scratches. The depth that was achievable from this colour by giving it a paint correction was very nice I first cut through the tired paint then polish out any marks and scratches leftover to get a deep mirror shine then a paint sealant is applied to add protection from UV damage & contaminants. 02.01.2022 Today I detailed a vehicle covered in vinyl.
