21.01.2022 Don't wait for the perfect time to start enjoying your life...time waits for no woman. It won't wait until you have enough money. It won't wait until the kids have moved out. It won't wait until your settlement goes through. ... It won't wait until you have a cancer scare. It won't wait until you get a Rolling abode. It won't wait until you retire. There is no checklist to mark off to join our tribe - the only prerequisite is you're itching to enjoy your time on this earth now, keen to join in, make new friends and grab life by the short and curlies. If you love camping and roadtrips - then that's a bonus. But we have things going on all over the shop that don't require you to have a motorhome or campervan to join us on adventures. Just don't waste your time, because lost time is never found again https://rollingsolo.com.au

08.01.2022 17 Socially distanced Rollers taking a group walk in Port Kembla (2 were too far right to be in pic!) www.rollingsolo.com.au

08.01.2022 Last weekend saw 17 Rollers brave the cold and take a leisurely walk down at Port Kembla NSW. The weather was magnificent and the views of the coastline were breathtaking. Well worth the extra layer of undergarments! Grabbing a Takeaway coffee before we headed off and rewarded ourselves with takeaway pizza on the grass overlooking the ocean when we arrived back. Although not a camping event, getting outdoors and meeting other women to have a chat and socialise is just... what we needed it all seems. And it's happening in each state with ladies in their local areas getting together outdoors and making the most of it. www.rollingsolo.com.au

06.01.2022 Today's project. I wanted a mirror in the van but not glass. A van flexes and vibrates so I decided on acrylic mirror panel was the way to go for this hack. Its a lightweight alternative to a glass mirror and can withstand the movement from the van. I hacked a $12 kmart picture frame to make it.... 1. I removed the back of the frame. Discarded the clear protector sheet and cardboard framer, but kept the frame backing to replace later. 2. Spray painted the frame in charcoal chalk paint, then lightly sanded edges with a sponge sanding block to give it a more weathered look. 3. Cut acrylic mirror sheet to size using the frame backing board as a template. I cheated and used a friends CNC machine for accuracy and straight edge. But you can get already cut to size at any sign maker that cuts acryllic. 4. Inserted acryllic mirror into frame and hung with velcro strips (8) You'll Need Acryllic mirror sheet 3mm from EBay. $60 (leftover to use in another project) Light pine picture frame - kmart $12 Spray paint if you wish to change the colour. This is just one of many van renos going on at the moment in our community for women that roll solo. You can see more of our projects, find out about our camping and social events, make new friends all over Australia to roadtrip with and get great tips and hints about travelling on the road as a woman on your own in our app as a member. www.rollingsolo.com.au

06.01.2022 With overseas travel off the cards in Australia for a while, there has been a surge of interest in Australian's travelling domestically and specifically exploring our country by road and going camping. New & Used Caravan, motorhome and campervan online sales enquiries have risen in recent months - which of course means there are more buyers out there looking for a rolling abode to go travel in. If you're using your super, or life savings to buy your Rolling abode you certai...nly don't want any surprises after you've split with your hard earned money as getting them fixed later can be costly and worst case scenario - not worth it. Before you get too excited and jump on the first campervan you find that is still for sale - download and print our FREE Pre Purchase inspection checklist. We've put together a pretty comprehensive list of things to look at and check for at that important pre purchase inspection and likely there are a bunch of things you hadn't of even thought of to check. And if there's something not on there you thing should be send us a message and we'll add it. You're welcome. https://www.rollingsolo.com.au/killer-checklist-buying-mot/
