25.01.2022 Hi Every body. Since l last wrote l supplied in three places for Christmas Masses at Quambatook, Boort and Whyceproof. Then it was up to Mildura to umpire cricket at the Willowfest Competition which is held in the last week of December each year. From there l went on to Robinvale to do supply on the final weekend of the year to allow one of my colleagues to have the weekend off. Since l have been back in Belmont l have been umpiring cricket, catching up with friends going to movies and doing a bit of reading as well.Cheers Denis R. Ryan

22.01.2022 Have just returned from Timor Leste after 10 Magical. Days there visiting a friend. Celebrating Mass for an order of Sisters most days with a group oF secondary students present. They.have mass one week in Tetum, one week in Portuguese, once week in English. The number one health scare is TB and it affects about about 48 percent of the population .

18.01.2022 Hi all. It has been a long time since l made a post, so heargoes.-Today l am on my way to South Australia to do supply work in Murray Bridge for the next five weeks. When l Finish up there l have a weeks holiday before going on a Thirty Day Retreat at a place called Largs Bay about 20 kms out of Adelaide right on the Beach So l will look forward to that. I expect to be home in Belmont Geelong about mid June

14.01.2022 Hi All, I have just finished a thirty day silent retreat at Largs Bay which is about 18 kilometres from Adelaide. The retreat house is close to the shoreline with beautiful walks alone the beach. I took the opportunity to walk for an hour each day and took many photos. More importantly the retreat was a real blessing it was a time to deepen my relationship with Jesus as well. as both other members of the Trinity. The insights on the spiritual exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyo...la with insights of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin just opened up for me how much the presence of the Cosmic Christ is just everywhere and in every thing.I have never done a thirty day silent retreat before and l am so glad l did it. On the three rest days we had l went into the city one day on the train,on another day l went to Port Noarlunga with its lovely beach as well as going to Willunga on another day. At Willunga l had a meal there of Kangaroo Pie,and l could not believe how tender it was.l am looking forward to getting home soon. Cheers See more

06.01.2022 Here l am Now in Malaga Spain. The weather here each day is around 28-31"each day. Like any SPAISH city it has a rich history.l came here last Sunday and l am here till this Saturday. I am managing today get together a Spanish Mass each day as the Church is about 200 metres away. I have visited Seville and tomorrow l go today Grannada.
