25.01.2022 In case you didn't already know: Lightweight plastic bags, disposable plastic straws and cutlery, plastic cotton buds and microbeads will be banned in New South Wales from next year, as part of a state government push to reduce plastic litter by 30% by 2025. 17.01.2022 A mobile-friendly website is one that is designed to work the exact same way across devices. This means that nothing changes or is unusable on a computer or mobile device. Features like navigation drop-downs are limited, as they can be difficult to use on mobile. And no Flash animation is used. ExSitu is an online platform that helps connect customers to health services and care facilitators. Their founders are April & Rebecca who are both former nurses in aged care facilities. 07.01.2022 Earthy tones provide a relaxing and nurturing contrast to the shiny, metallic finishes that are part and parcel of technology. This was the colour palette for one of our clients, ExSitu. The primary colours used in the ExSitu... brandmark are a mix of bold and earthy tones. The coolness of the greens juxtaposed with the deep blue and warm orange bring a relaxed and calm feel to the brandmark. The contrast of the bright secondary colours create an uplifting and optimistic mood. #byRoo

05.01.2022 TYPOGRAPHY Why is it important and why do we obsess over it? Fonts add value to your text, helping readers to perceive information how you want them to. The correct choice of colour, font and text size can prove to be vital for attracting your target audience. You'll hear us compare "Serif" and "Sans Serif" fonts frequently, which often portrays the mood or feeling in your content depending on what form it comes in. Example, advertisement or computer game. An advertisement may need a more serious, plain and simple type where a computer game may want to appear more thrilling and fun so you'd opt for a type that fits that appeal.
