11.01.2022 Dear Valued Patients, The Victorian Government has decided that a referral is NOT needed for Chiropractic care in the Melbourne region during stage 4 restrictions. In response to COVID-19 and the impact it’s having globally we would like to inform our patients that we are remaining open. In accordance to the recent Victorian Government announcement of Stage 4 restrictions Chiropractic falls under Essential Allied Health Services. We will be enforcing Government guidelines an...d operating with care and careful consideration to keep everybody safe. As this is a rapidly changing event the safety of everybody is our number one priority. There is a caveat though, which is we are only seeing emergency patients or patients whose condition may significantly worsen if you do not receive care. If you can wait until the end of the stage 4 lock-down please do. If you feel your pain levels are too much to cope with or are becoming a lot worse call us for an appointment. Stage 4 changes made: Patients must have a mask upon arrival. All treatment tables will be sanitised and disinfected before and after treatments. All adjustments are performed with both patient and Chiropractor wearing a mask/face shield. Door handles, tables, chairs, bench tops are disinfected after each patient leaving. Only two patients will be allowed in the reception room at a time as we are spacing out appointments. If there are more than two patients in the reception room please let the staff member know you will be outside waiting and we will SMS you when your appointment is ready. Linen disinfected and changed after every treatment. No handshakes are allowed. We are washing our hands pre and post treatments (both chiropractor and patient). There is a perspex screen at the front desk to help isolate you from the reception desk. Please note that if you are feeling unwell please stay home and see your GP if needed.
