25.01.2022 Talented Artist & Tutor Peter Griffen joined Rosby Art Workshops for the first time last weekend for an abstract expressionism 2-day workshop up at the Rosby Mud Hut. It was a wild day with strong winds on Saturday but our participants stuck it out and produced some exceptional works. Rosbys good friend Tim White Photography was there to capture some of the fun! That wraps up the Rosby Art Workshops for 2019. Its been a big year, but we are planning the schedule for 2020. A variety of techniques will be employed to guide you through the contemporary printmaking process. Youll leave feeling confident in your ability to transform any drawing, painting or photo into a fine art print sure to make any wall pop. The workshop caters to all levels of artistic experience, from beginners wanting to try their hand at something new and have a bit of a fun, to proficient artists. 06.01.2022 *SIG 2020 update* The Sculptures in the Garden Committee are still forging ahead for 2020 in preparation for our milestone 10th anniversary event on the 10th & ...11th October 2020. We can all agree that during these challenging times, we need, more than ever before, something to look forward too and so we are hoping that SIG 2020 can be the light at the end of the tunnel for us all. Although ultimately the decision on whether the event will be able to proceed will be that of the Government, we are forging ahead with the assumption that come October restrictions will be lifted and the show can go on. We will continue to keep you updated with any developments on this years event as they occur. But at this stage keep the 10th & 11th October 2020 in your diaries for the 10th Anniversary event of Sculptures in the Garden. We were so lucky to have Pip Sumbak up at the Rosby Mud Hut to teach us all some woodfire cooking techniques and then be able to sit down and enjoy a delicious feast with some Rosby Wines.
