14.01.2022 Just spent the most wonderful 3 nights camping by the river!!!! Samantha was a delightful host and her daily morning teas and charming stories were not to be mi...ssed. We have already recommended this stop to fellow travellers and are very looking forward to returning. A perfect base to explore Gundabooka National Park and a great way to finish the Darling River Run. See more

10.01.2022 We stayed in the very comfortable self catering cottage which was perfect for us. We loved our overnight stop at Rose Isle Station and could easily have stayed ...another night or two. Even though our stay was short, we enjoyed a paddle on the Darling River and using the farm bikes to explore. Highly recommend and will stay again if passing this way. An added bonus was the great opportunity to snap some gorgeous photos. Thank you Samantha. See more

01.01.2022 Spent a gorgeous day at Rose Isle today. A beautiful escape, lots of hidden areas to find and enjoy and if you are lucky enough to book ahead and organise, ther...e is delicious food! If you are looking for somewhere for an event or just time out it is well worth the visit. The birds were singing and a variety were on site. From lousy jacks, swallows, willy wag tails and the fairy blue wren. A Kite soared overhead and we passed a wedge tail eagle on the side of the road. The peaceful river with many little areas you could sit and think or read a book, and a garden that has treasures begging you to find. Even in the ongoing drought and with the need for water and waiting spring, it is still a gorgeous place to visit. Thankyou to Samantha and Gary Mooring for your hospitality and a lovely day. - Liz See more
