25.01.2022 It’s Winter and yet some of the flowers at Rosebud are still happy to show off their beauty! Feeling thankful for the gentle rain today.
25.01.2022 We finished the rose planting today in the drizzling rain with the A team. Thanks again to Tristan and Ian for all your hard work. We have one more order of roses to arrive and then the gardens will be full. We dug fence post holes and started to pile up some bush rock for the low stone retaining walls going alongside the arbour. Loving the progress this week.

17.01.2022 Spring! The humidity in the air and the clear skies are bringing on the new growth. The roses are coming along and I have buds galore. September is an important month to get your mulching finished and to start feeding your plants. Whilst the plants are absorbing a lot of sunlight and creating growth they are hungry so let’s start feeding/fertilising. Happy gardening!!
16.01.2022 Are you wanting a beautiful bunch of fresh mixed flowers for your home? Be like Fran, a lovely lady in Gerringong who leaves a jar of water at her door and I leave her a bunch of flowers for when she arrives home from work. It’s the perfect way to add that beauty of nature to your home without the stress of going to the shops to by the flowers. Send me a message anytime and we will make it happen. Thank you
15.01.2022 More progress at Rosebud Farm. Stone walls nearly done, winter mulching around the rose beds and the flowering blossoms and getting a start on soil prep for the upcoming sowing of Spring flowers. It’s all go here.

10.01.2022 September is the month for mulching. If you haven’t started yet nows the time. Mulch can be leaf mulch, grass clippings, animal manure, hay or silage. Our trees and plants will thrive when mulched heavily through the summer months. Keeping it think holds the weeds at bay and helps retain vital moisture in summer. So get mulching gardeners. I like to spray or weed around my trees/plants, then add a layer of dry manure for a fertiliser and then the mulch in a think donut shape so that the base of the tree/plant is exposed. PS What a day! Thanks Jason Mcarthur and his team at Gettin it Done tree services for the leaf mulch.
