23.01.2022 Do you have spare gear? It's crafty Tuesday and here's a great way to recycle old bits and stirrups. Why not decorate some for Christmas? You can leave them rus...tic, or give them a quick spray paint with silver paint spray and glitter. Glue on your decorations and you are done. We'd love to see the results. 22.01.2022 SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT Orbost Horse Trials and Gymkhana has had to be rescheduled due to the Army setting up their base on the Newmerella Recreation Reserve. The ...committee have locked in a new date 16th and 17th of May. We will run our event as per usual on this new weekend. It is a shame to lose the March weekend but we hope everyone understands the Army are doing a huge amount of work helping our community and we are very grateful to them for keeping our town safe I will have a new program out very shortly See more

16.01.2022 At its last meeting, State Council has resolved to change the qualifying criteria to be eligible to the following: 18.8.b A combination (club member and horse) ...wishing to participate in a pony club section of a competition or any other activity (other than supervised rally or instructional activities) hosted by a pony club, must achieve the minimum number of qualifying rally attendances: i. Junior senior and adult riding members - two mounted rallies by the combination within the preceding 12 months effective September 1st 2020 This means that effective immediately, Juniors, Associates and Adults now only need two attendances to qualify. Juniors previously required 5 rallies. This change is intended to simplify attending Pony Club competitions, particularly in light of the reduced opportunity due to COVID restrictions. In other news, State Council has elected to change the name of 'Associate Membership' to 'Senior Membership' to better reflect the age group.

Our selection committee will explain the Victorian selection process & criteria for all Victorian pony clubbers. Many thanks to them as this has not been easy in the current covid circumstances. The quiz is on Thursday A...pril 2, 2020 (tomorrow afternoon) NOTE: Have your membership number ready. The quiz will be open for 24 hours. At noon we will send links to everyones email and also post them on the Pony Club Australia Facebook page. (Australian Eastern Daylight time, see below). You can do the quiz straight away, or wait a few hours, but your answers will be timed once you start. You need to use your seven-digit membership number from MyPonyClub where it asks for Nickname. You are competing as an individual. Each link will be labelled for E,D,D* OR COR C* and ABOVE. Select the link for your level You have 20 seconds to answer each question. Those on the leaderboard will have their membership numbers checked off against the membership list before prizes are awarded.
