21.01.2022 Hello everyone. I hope you have all had a pleasant long weekend. Our Retro sale continues this week with further books, games and puzzles and as well we now have retro & vintage bric-a-brac & kitchen items. Next week we will have a big retro & vintage clothing sale but there will be more about that closer to the date. Our green tagged clothing this week will be $1 an item. The same for the green tagged bric-a-brac on the central shelves, all $1 an item. If it is alrea...dy $1, then it goes down to 50c. If it's already 50c (such as our plastic items) it stays 50c. Our books are all still $1 for the adult fiction. As well, until it is all sold, any manchester in plastic bags with white labels will be half price. Only white tagged items. That's all bedding, table linen, kitchen linen, but white labels only. As with most of our sales, once they are gone, that's it, so get in early! See more

21.01.2022 Happy 2019 everyone. We are starting the countdown at Rotary Recycle. Six days until we re-open for the new year. Monday Jan 14, 10am sharp! Put it in your diaries. The shop is filled to the hilt with 99.9% new stock. Some of our lights & lamps & some books have been dragged over from 2018 but everything else is new stock. 13.01.2022 Hello everyone. The 50c sale is going like a steam train & guess what? We have some new stock put out so there is still a good selection left for you to look at. So tomorrow's sale is the same as today's (all clothing 50c, all bric-a-brac on central shelves 50c, all shoes 50c, all hats, belts, ties & scarves 50c ) but there is one extra add -on: All the lighting is half price. All table lamps, bedside lamps, standing lamps, ones that stand on desks, ones that clip onto shelves. All half price. Just for tomorrow. 13.01.2022 Hello everyone. A cooler week coming up, thank goodness. Better shopping weather! So we are commencing the first of our half price sales for the year. All our pink tagged clothing & all the pink price tagged bric a brac (on the shelves in the centre of the shop only) is half price. Our normal routine is to put our prices down to half when our items have been around for four weeks or so but we have only been open three weeks so you are getting your bargains earlier! We ...will also have all our clothing that has new labels half price as well. Because of so much online selling and people being loathe to pay the price of sending items back, we have HEAPS of brand new clothing. So, until I am happy that we have cleared the decks, all of it will be half our marked price. There is a section of new items on the wall to the left of the front door & we will have one or our circular racks up too. Go for it! Dont forget to check out whatever we may have that would make a good Valentines Day present. You may find just what you want! There are certainly plenty of fluffy toys, some gift packs, and of course, new items of clothing. And last, a more serious note. Like most other op-shops, we are having issues with people stealing from us. We have been fairly laid back about it, hoping that karma gets em, but when one of our customers see another customer stuffing clothing in her back back & waltzing out the door, it's getting to be a bit much. In the next week or so, we will be requesting ALL customers entering the shop to surrender their backpacks, shopping bags, large handbags, any bag bigger than an over the shoulder handbag to be minded at the front desk. You will be given a means of identifying your back on leaving the shop. You will need to take your valuables out of your bag & carry them with you. We will make that easy for you. We have baskets & bags which you will give back to us at the end of your shopping. There will be no exceptions. We will also do spot checks of your smaller bags as you leave. I'm sorry it will mess up the happy shopping experience for all of us, but we need to get the problem in hand. So, that business out of the way, have a happy week & we hope to see you in the shop!
