21.01.2022 **** SEE BELOW FROM CLUB COMMITTEE **** I regret to inform you that the Range Committee has decided to postpone our OPM. The situation with the COVID 19 pandemic is changing rapidly into the unknown and we need to recognise that the health issues and age of some of our members and visitors puts them at serious risk. The NRAA has put out an announcement on COVID 19 https://nraa.com.au/uncategorised/nraa-covid-19-update-3/ , and on the subject of Club Shooting says "The NRAA hi...ghly recommends that Club Social Functions be postponed or cancelled at this stage." Our OPM involves several hours in total of large groups in the clubhouse and Bowling club, so going ahead would be a clear breach of the NRAAs recommendation. On the bright side, we dont expect any significant financial losses. The 2020 badges and medals will still be used, no perishable food has yet been ordered by us, and all the clubhouse improvement work and range preparations are worthwhile regardless of the OPM. We will still shoot on Saturday. If you arrive about 11, well have a pre-lunch discussion about rescheduling the OPM, and decide what range to shoot for the day. Rgds, Alan Fraser Secretary

15.01.2022 Dear members, Yesterday some of you would have noticed a number of potential training dates being placed on our Facebook page with the anticipation of resuming some activities, following the State Premier, VRA and NRAA announcements on Monday 11 May. To be clear, and per the description within those events, they have only been placed to see if Facebook could be used as a booking tool that provides transparency and to ensure that no more than 10 members attend any specific ses...sion. PLEASE NOTE: The Range Committee still need to meet this evening and gain final confirmations from the Wellington Shire before being able to officially confirm a return to the range. Please continue to place your preferences for the events, but as indicated, only once you receive an SMS confirming your booking, should you plan to attend the range,

06.01.2022 From the RosedaleRC secretary: You may have noticed on the flyers for the GRA OPM and Sunday 1000yd that the Saturday evening meal needs prior booking by Tuesday, December 3rd. The reason for the prior booking is that the meal is a set menu (with options) at the nearby small and friendly Rosedale Bowling Club. Cost is $15 per head and the bar will be open with reasonable prices. There will be a minibus available for the short drive to and from the Club. I apologise for the... insistence on pre-booking, but the Bowling Club are doing most of the catering throughout the two days and we hope to partner with them again for future events if all goes well for these. The range committee will continue to observe advise from both state and federal agencies and will communicate to our members when shooting activities resume.
