Course: Breakfast, Snack Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 35 minutes Total Time: 45 minutes Servings: 12 slices Calories: 137kcal - 4 bananas , about 1 1/3 cups, mashed - 1 large egg - 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract - 3 Tablespoons light brown sugar - 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon - 1 teaspoon baking powder - 1 teaspoon baking soda - 1/2 teaspoon salt - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (white or white-whole wheat) - 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter , melted Instructions Grease a standard 9x5 loaf pan (I also like to line the bottom of the pan with baking paper to make sure the loaf doesnt stick). Mash bananas in a mixing bowl. Add egg, vanilla, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon and stir well to combine. In a separate small bowl stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to banana mixture and stir to combine. Gently stir in melted butter. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius. for 35-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean. Go the distance One of the easiest ways to make your walk work harder for your health is simple: Walk further. If you usually go for a 30-minute walk, tack on another 10 minutes, or extend your usual walking route. 2. Pick up the pace If it normally takes you 40 minutes to walk a certain distance, try to do it in 30 minutes. Increasing the pace of your walk will give you more of a cardio workout. 3. Head for the hills A simple, yet really effective way to increase the intensity of your walk is to add more hills or stair climbs into the mix. It gets the heart rate up quickly and engages the butt and leg muscles more. 4. Add in some strength and toning exercises You can increase the type and range of movement you do on a walk by stopping every so often and doing a few body weight exercises like squats and triceps dips using a park bench. It also gives you a short recovery time before you start the heart pumping again. 5. Add in short jogging bursts Start jogging for a few seconds or minutes at a time during your walk to inject some higher intensity bursts of exercise. This is great if you dont like running either (like me); the intermittent sprints actually burn fat way past the time you finish your exercise session. Is there a best time to go for a walk? While morning exercise has been linked to boosting brain health, research suggests evening workouts keep a lid on hunger levels. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken mixture for 2-3 minutes or until no longer pink. Add the cooked chicken mixture to a large bowl with the cucumber, capsicum, carrot, coriander, and cashews. No matter what it is, one thing is for sure; that your brain health is extremely important. Unfortunately in a world where we just focus on what we can see, we tend to forget about our internal he...alth and only take care of the external aesthetics. There are a variety of risk factors for Alzheimers disease (AD) and other mental and neurological diseases, such as age, genetics, health history, and even sex. Since men and women have different risk factors for the disease, their preventive approaches may also differexcept for one. According to neuroscientist and nutritionist Lisa Mosconi, Ph.D., the Mediterranean diet is an effective preventive measure for both men and women. The Mediterranean diet is flexible and sensible. Sensible because the health benefits of the diet have been validated by hundreds of studies. And this isnt one of those ultra-trendy diets that gain popularity without any data to back it up. Trends come and go, and science moves a lot slower than any trends. The flexible aspect is a bit more self-explanatory. Unlike some diets which restrict certain food groups like carbohydrates, the Mediterranean diet includes a wide range of whole foods, including whole grains. At the same time, if you dont want to eat whole grains, dont eat them. More important than adhering to rules, is consuming enough micro- and macronutrients to support brain, heart, and overall health. Protein in the Mediterranean diet primarily comes from seafood, which is high in omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3s in fish are polyunsaturated fats, like docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), both of which are crucial for brain health. Theyre part of our brain cell membranes. Other healthy Med-diet fat sources, like olive oil and nuts, have both been shown to support cognitive functioning and brain health, too. The brain is the organ that is most easily affected by oxidative stress. The only way to protect the brain from that stress is by introducing antioxidants to the diet. These come from fruit and vegetables in the diet. Legumes, nuts, seeds, coffee, and even red wine contain critical antioxidants as well. So if you feel you need to follow a done for you diet with healthy recipe choices, then the Mediterreanean Diet is the way to go for sustainablility, longevity and wellbeing.

We are made up of dual forces - masculine and feminine; Yin and Yang. Our Yang is there for self preservation, self defence, self appreciation and self acknowledgement that we do not exist to be down trodden, stepped on or disrespected by others. On the contrary, we have a birth right like all of humanity to be uplifted, heard and seen. To set boundaries, we need some divine support. We gain this by connecting to our higher selves, the Divine and acknowledging our ancestry, our history and our experiences. Its time to take a stand for what you value by activating your voice and communicating your soul-aligned truth. Its time to support yourself with clear boundaries that allow you to feel safe and heard. Its time to harness your inner Warrior!

Your complaints could have been about your health, your weight, your wellness status, your career, your relationship, your self- image, your instability, feeling stuck in life, your lack of opportunities, your lack of passion...etc. etc. etc. If I had a dollar for every time someone complained to me about something and I gave them a lifeline - and they then chose to igno...re my advice.....I would be a millionaire many times over. After a while I chose to stop allowing these "self proposed victims" to take up my valuable time with their constant complaining about the same things over and over again. No Im not being a BITCH, Im being a self-respecting realist. You see, if you want change you need to make a change! Its as simple as that. Complaining about wanting something different does not have the capacity to change it. Only action will do that. And not just any action. You need to act differently, you need to do something different, you need to change your routine, behaviour, habit, regular timetable in order to get something different. Different strategies are what changes your path to your sameness experiences. Listening to the solutions offered to you and then acting on them is what will trigger a different pathway to a better outcome. Being willing to take a gamble and follow a different path will surprisingly put you in a more positive place in your future. Im tired of the people who are reliant on ear bashing others or using them as soundboards for their relentless victimisation; but dont actually want to do anything about it. You need to respect other people and their time, even if you dont respect yourself for wanting to effectively change your present, undesirable status. So stop whining - get your shit together - and do something to change whatever it is youre complaining about. Stop sounding like a record and break your cycle of victimisation. Dementia, in particular, has become a widespread disease, and scientists all over the world are researching methods to fight it. Remember, a lot of our tomorrows health and brain performance depends on what we do today! Although there is still no medication that can cure dementia, which has also been c...alled the 21st-century plague, leading neuroscientists have found ways to reduce the risk and keep the brain fit in older age. "We have strong evidence from dozens of studies that cognitive training can improve cognition in older people, including those with mild cognitive impairment." Dr. Amit Lampit (University of Sydney) It is important that the brain is regularly challenged. Effective, scientifically based brain training is a suitable way of challenging the brain and staying mentally agile in older age. Ongoing brain training is necessary to keep rejuvenating our brain cells, keeping them active and in working order. Remember the old adage; "Use it or lose it". Adequate supplementation of essential nutrients are also necessary to have a positive impact on our brain health. Our brain in its complexity is the core of our existence. 04.01.2022 Hemp is one of natures most versatile plants. A variety of cannabis plant that contains less than 0.3% of THC (the psychoactive component in marijuana that makes you feel "high") industrial hemp grows quickly, can adapt to many different climates, and has a high nutrient count. Here are three of the most popular forms of hemp oil and what each one is used for. For easing stress and burnout: Hemp oil extract Hemp oil extract, also referred to as just hemp oil or hemp extract,... is an oil thats extracted from the stalk of a hemp plant using either CO2 gas, ethanol, or another oil. This extraction method keeps the plants beneficial phytocannabinoids intact. When consumed, these compounds promote feelings of relaxation because of the way they bind to receptors in our endocannabinoid system. (More about this in an upcoming video). If you want to ease all-around stress, this form of hemp is your best bet. It is often packaged as a liquid tincture or a capsule supplement. Be sure to look for a product thats labeled "full-spectrum," as it contains a wider variety of phytocannabinoids than an isolate product like CBD oil. (The distinction between these two can be a little confusing: Hemp oil contains CBD, but CBD oil does not contain all the phytocannabinoid goodness of a full-spectrum product.)
