19.01.2022 So, what are you doing this weekend? Or should I rephrase that question, what are you doing to challenge yourself this weekend? Last week I was in Tasmania, and decided to 'take the plunge' quite literally and go White Water rafting. It's always been 'on my list', and I was excited but quite scared about it at the same time. Well I think you can see the outcome - I'm the one in the middle with a massive smile on my face! I've been riding on a high since, I pushed my comfor...t zone and it's now bigger, which feels great! I saw this recently on facebook so can't take credit for inventing it but some of the answers given were inspired, and very creative! So here it is... ... c H a L L e N g E # 2 : Write your HAPPIEST story ... in just three words. That's it! go!

13.01.2022 \\ What doesn't challenge you, won't change you // This is the mantra that ran through my head as I looked at the workout staring back at me from the gym white board today... This was the mantra that I repeated over and over in my mind, as my body pushed hard to get through it... ... ...and change is what I see in the mirror, my body and mind transforming into the best version of me, day by day. The bigger the challenge, the bigger the change, the bigger the satisfaction. If I could get back all those hours wasted aimlessly peddling the elliptical trainer staring at a far off TV screen I would, and I'd spend them busting a gut, pushing beyond limits in my Crossfit gym. What will you do tomorrow to push beyond your limits?

I could give you a whole lot of background about how I believe that activating your creative mind, the ability to think the way you used to think as a young child, the ability to use your imagination without filter, will help you in every area of every day life but instead I'm just going to let you experience it for yourself! Who's up for a challenge? I'll be posting a series of (around) 5 ...of these over the coming days! ... this will take 15-20 mins of your day, and it can be FuN! So here we go... c H a L L e N g E # 1 : 1. Go and grab a pair of shoes from your cupboard or wherever you keep them, an older pair would work best. 2. Put them on a table in front of you and grab a notepad and pen. Look long and hard at the shoes, pick them up, smell them and notice everything you can about them. 3. Now write the story of their life! ...write in any way you like. It could be poetry, just a collection of words, or as if you are the shoes talking... just write... whatever comes to you. 05.01.2022 Dreams and goals don’t have to be based around big achievements. I found this note today that I wrote myself well over a year ago, when I was still working (and partly living) in Sydney, but hankering for the life in the Southern Highlands that I now have... It’s amazing how closely this now describes the life I’m now living and loving!. It may seem like you have a clear picture in your mind of where you are heading, but have you actually articulated it clearly and is it only based on one part of your life? a career ambition? A financial goal? How do you want your life to be holistically? What kind of life would FEEL amazing? Write it down, describe the small details... it can help set the intention much more clearly. Only then can the Universe deliver ...

TODAY'S challenge gets you outside to take advantage of this beautiful Autumn day!... c H a L L e N g E # 3 : Step 1: Go out into nature - wherever that might be available for you, the garden, local park, beach, whatever you can manage. Get really connected. If possible take your shoes and socks off and notice every footstep. Get down low and study what is under your feet, all around you, in the sky. Just wander. On your way, collect 5 things that catch your attention and bring them back with you. Step 2: On a plain table top arrange your 5 things in an order that makes some sort of sense to you for whatever reason. Take a photo so we can see it too... then share your 'reason' or 'logic' for the order you put them in!
