23.01.2022 "Take 2" Chip in Four Rosie We are excited to announce that the golf day will now go ahead on Friday the 27th November 2020 at Worrigee Links Golf Club, Greenwell Point Road, Worrigee. ALL TEAMS AND SPONSORS WHO HAVE ALREADY SECURED THEIR SPOT FOR THE POSTPONED GOLF DAY WILL AUTOMATICALLY HOLD THEIR ENTRY FOR THE NEW DATE.... The format of the golf day has to be altered due to COVID19 and the restrictions on the Worrigee Links Golf Club and Ex-servicemans. We CANNOT play in groups of 6 (2 x 3 man teams) anymore and we cannot have a shotgun start. This means each three man team can now add a fourth player if you wish. The teams will now be 4 man teams and the event will be a four man Ambrose, with one group of four to hit off per allocated tee time. The tee times will now follow a more traditional golf day with each team allocated a time from 8am onwards with groups to follow one after another. Breakfast, Lunch and drinks will still be provided and we are currently working out the logistics with this as we are NOT able to hold a function in the club afterwards. There will now be an online auction through GalaBid fundraising platform conducted in relation to all items we have accumulated to raise money. At this stage the auction will conclude shortly after the golf day and information on the online auction will be available soon. If anyone doesnt have a team and wishes to play please let Joel know as we will be starting a list to fill teams who wish to find a 4th player. On friday Rosie and her family were lucky enough to receive a visit from a 12 week old black Labrador who will soon be training to be a Police dog. Rosie named the puppy Murray in memory of a beautiful little boy who sadly passed away on friday morning. His name was Murray and he was a dear friend of Rosies and her familys. We could not think of a more fitting name for such a loving, gentle puppy. ... RIP Murray Noel Rodgers 2017-2020

This year Rosie is part of The Peices of Me Project which is displayed along the halls of the SCH. 07.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart that we have to postpone the Chip in four Rosie golf day. The announcement today by the government to ban all non essential gatherings of more than 100 people unfortunately applies to our event. Rosie is classified as high risk as she is immunocomprimised therefore it would be irresponsible for us to proceed with the event & possibly expose Rosie to the virus. We will work with Worrigee Sports Club to set a new date, possibly in September and let yo...u know as soon as possible. We hope everyone is keeping safe and being sensible around these uncertain times. Stay home if possible and share the toilet paper round We are so grateful for all the love everyone has show so far and we hope you can all join us when we announce the new date.
