22.01.2022 Hi all, Well it seems as though we have hit the big time. Perhaps not the BIG big time but pretty big for me. ... 21.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Just a reminder to those who are doing their own tax, you need to have it lodged by the 31st of October 2019. If you are late lodging your return, the Tax Office may subject you to penalties and interest. Did you know, if you lodge your tax with an accountant, in most cases you will have until the 15th May 2020. If you are unable to lodge your tax by the 31st October and you would like me to complete your return at a later date, give me a call and I will check ...that you are eligible for the extension and register you as a client. 20.01.2022 If you are having problems making an appointment to have your tax return completed during the week, why not do it on a Saturday! I have appointments for the next four Saturdays in August between 9am and 12pm. Give Ros a call on 0488 008 969 to make an appointment.

12.01.2022 Hi everyone, Well this turbulent year continues unabated. I hope you are all well and surviving the year that is 2020. Tax time has rolled around once again, time to find all those receipts, add up your interest and prepare to do your tax.... I have produced another Tax Time Newsletter this year. It can be found under the Photos tab. Roslyn Brown Accounting is following government guidelines in regard to the Corona-virus, including cleaning and room capacities. This year I am strongly encouraging people to complete their tax returns via Zoom. We can email or use the Client Portal for the transfer of documents so that is not a problem. If you are unsure about or unfamiliar with Zoom my tech support is happy to walk you through the set up process over the phone or we have a tutorial we can send out to you. Don’t worry if this is completely beyond you. You can still come in and see me, just one person at a time. Feel free to get in touch at any time with any questions or concerns. 11.01.2022 Hi All, It’s been a while since I posted anything. I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year. The year is flying past! I just want to remind those people who have not yet done their 2019 income tax return that there is still time, but the deadline is looming. The final day for lodgment is the 15th May 2020. 03.01.2022 Hi everyone, First up I would like to give a big shout out to all those on the front line of this Covid-19 mess that we find ourselves in at the moment. The doctors, nurses, scientists, supermarket staff, and everyone else who is working towards our health and safety.... Great work everyone! We can help them by following the rules, social distancing and staying home. Now Roslyn Brown Accounting is still open for business. We are still able to help you with all of your taxation and business needs. Following medical advice, we have closed our doors but will continue to work via phone and email to make sure things get done. If there is a need for me to have particular documents they can still be dropped off or scanned and emailed through. I have also spent some time working through the government’s Economic Stimulus Packages and have done what I can to break them down into understandable chunks. Way too much to post here but if you would like a copy give me a call or shoot an email through and I will send you a copy. All the best to everyone in this difficult time. Stay healthy. Ros
