17.01.2022 And our lovely Helena, last but not least Originally from Germany, Helena has called Darwin home since 2007 where she has pursued her love for tropical architecture. She completed her Certificate IV in Residential Drafting in 2011 taking with her, amongst others, the prize for Student of the Year. In 2014 she went on to complete her Diploma of Building Design and Technology and has since worked for several architectural, consulting and building companies. She is also work...ing towards completing her architectural Bachelor at CDU. Helena makes the most of her German background in bringing an exacting attention-to-detail in her documentation of all her projects, be they early concept designs or final construction details. She has experience navigating the complexities of large projects too, liaising with sub-consultants and managing project timelines. Her weekends are usually packed with renovation projects or time spent entertaining her two delightful sons. See more

Meet Georgios Georgios Platsis is a Darwin-born, Trainee Architectural Technician / Designer at Rossi Architects, and has recently completed a Bachelor of Design at Charles Darwin University. After beginning his education journey in Greece, Georgios decided to relocate back to Australia and follow his dreams of design in the built environment. Since starting with Rossi Architects in 2019 Georgios has developed his talent for the production of p...recise working drawings with excellent attention to detail and his trademark ‘can-do’ attitude. On Saturdays, Georgios is also known as Mr. George from his First Grade students who attend his class at the Greek Orthodox School of Darwin, where he teaches the Greek language. Georgios is also a very talented Greek dancer, who you will often see at the popular Greek GleNTi festival (stay tuned for 2021)

05.01.2022 OUR TEAM ISAAC MCNICOL Isaac, an architect at Rossi Architects, is passionate about infusing his work with an atmosphere of beauty and authenticity. Since graduating dux in his Masters of Architecture in 2010, Isaac’s work has received wide industry acclaim. In 2010 he was the recipient of the Phillips Pilkington Prize for Architectural Design, in recognition of his considerable achievements in the final year of his architectural studies. In 2011, Isaac was a runner-u...p for The Architects Board of South Australia Travelling Prize in Architecture, awarded to those candidates deemed most likely to make a significant contribution to the field of architecture. Isaac has also been involved in internationally-recognised projects, with the most notable winning the Association for Learning Environments, LE Solutions, James D MacConnell Award; the highest honour in education architecture. He likes rock climbing, does a bit of kite surfing, travelling to exotic destinations where he loves hiking through the mountain side.
