21.01.2022 This week we farewell our Year 12s. For many years our Valedictory was held in the school Gymnasium. It is now staged at the Perth Concert Hall.

20.01.2022 For 50 years the quads remained relatively unchanged. This year students were excited to return from holidays to find the quads landscaped to include more seating and shade.

18.01.2022 Today we celebrated the excellent achievements of the Class of 2018 at our High Achievers Assembly. Class of 2018 alumni, William Yap ATAR Dux and Alonzo Refrea VET Dux addressed the assembly. Twenty nine students attained an ATAR of 99+ which places them in the top one per cent of all students in Western Australia. ... In addition, Rossmoyne Senior High School featured prominently in the School Curriculum and Standards Authority academic awards. Rossmoyne students won 142 awards and our school was top of the non-fully selective public schools, listing 8th in the ATAR school rankings across WA.

14.01.2022 At Rossmoyne we are very fortunate to have a strong connection amongst our staff. Many staff have been privileged to work alongside each other for some time. Recently a photograph of Ms Karen Smith and Mr Steve Holyoake was found in our archives from 1993. It was taken at a Rossmoyne peer support camp. Still working together in Science, the same photo was recently recreated at school.

13.01.2022 Rossmoyne Rams shooting some aluminium can hoops at a school assembly. No sure on the date of this one but looks like there are some Reebok Pumps in the picture so maybe early 90s!

10.01.2022 Former Rossmoyne student, Jennifer Sadler has been warming up with the Volleyroos in Europe ready for their upcoming VNL season. Long time Rossmoyne Mathematics teacher and proud father Alan went along to support his daughter. Great to see our former students still chasing their dreams.

07.01.2022 Last week saw the inaugural iCARE Week organised by our Student Councillors. Activities, raising funds for various charities, included teacher dunking, crazy hair day, T-Posing for a Guinness World Record, Be Brave Crusade and we finished the week with a colour run. Are your children joining us next year?

06.01.2022 1993 TIME CAPSULE UNPACKING - today some of our enthusiastic students assisted in unpacking the time capsule from 1993. A quite delightful coincidence happened when our student Hannah discovered her Mum was a Year 12 Rossmoyne SHS leaver that year. Hannah was excited to find her Mums photo in the year book and her name on the leavers shirt. Did you contribute to packing the time capsule, or were a student here in 1993? We will be packing our next time capsule - to be opened in 2043 at a student-only assembly on Thursday. [Note: post has been edited].

02.01.2022 Rossmoyne alumni Belinda Teh, Head Girl from the Class of 2009 is in the process of walking from Melbourne to Perth to raise awareness for Voluntary Assisted Dying Legislation in WA. Belindas walk is inspired by her deeply personal experience in losing her mother to an aggressive form of breast cancer in 2016. Her walk across Australia is being done in the hope that people terminally ill can avoid the sort of experience her mum had at the end of her life.
