We may not be able to leave our house and explore, but, we can still be a part of this natural wonder. Imagine the conversations and activity ideas that could evolve from this?

14.01.2022 Welcome to Term 3 everyone. Yes, it's going to look a little different to what we had originally planned but we are determined to make the best of it with your support. Towards the end of term 2 the children really enjoyed singing the alphabet song and requested it daily. Here is a fun and quick activity to set up that encourages letter recognition, motor skills, imaginative skills, communication and of course music (how can you not sing along when thinking of the letters of the alphabet?) You may like to try one letter, perhaps the first letter of your child's name or work your way through the alphabet? Enjoy this activity and don't forget to take a photo and send it to us so we can see the creativity shown by our learners. See you all in 2 days time!

14.01.2022 Our playful little bunnies and sweet guinea pigs have enjoyed their weekend home getting to run around and have some time to themselves and are all set for more pats and cuddles with you all. See you soon for week 2

13.01.2022 Term 3 has begun so smoothly and we are grateful to all our families for following our procedures during the Covid-19 pandemic. Over the weekend the Victorian Government announced the need to wear face coverings from Wednesday, 22nd July 11:59pm. In this post we have included the link from DHHS detailing the requirements for people over the age of 12 to wear them. If you would like your child to wear a mask/covering, please send it with your child to Kinder each day and teach them using the graphic included of how to use it correctly. https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au//face-coverings-mandatory-melb Please contact us if you would like additional information.

We are unable to use them in our service due to hygiene reasons, but, at home they can have endless uses so there is no need to put them in the recycling. 03.01.2022 Recycling is an important part of what we do at Rosswood Preschool and we would like your help to add to our box construction activity. Skip placing items in your recycling bin at home and bring them straight to us. The children will give your cardboard boxes and clean containers a new lease on life. You can bring them in today and everyday over the next few weeks. We can never have to many boxes when it comes to our creative learners. (Please keep toilet rolls and egg cartons at home) Thank you
