22.01.2022 A look back to three years ago, picking mandarins at Hanwood for Foodbank. We are always happy to help to make a difference.

18.01.2022 Our last meeting was a dinner meeting with Dave Brookes coming along to give an interesting presentation about snakes. We learnt about their preferred habitat and how Dave catches and relocates them. Our winter vege garden at the Community Gardens is growing well, with some of the bok choy looking ready to harvest. There’s still some free space for anyone who would like to plant more veges or herbs. We have a Bunnings sausage sizzle coming up on July 17th. Please let Rene know if you can help out.

14.01.2022 Yes, it's that time of the year when we dress up, kick up our heels and have a lively time handing over to the new board! Dress up, as always ,is optional. We would just love to have you join us for a fabulous evening at Benny's Restaurant & Bar.

07.01.2022 Pizza , salad and snakes are the order of the evening at our dinner meeting at Benny's Restaurant & Bar, Kidman Way motel on Thursday 24th at 6 PM. While we munch on Benny’s delicious pizza, David Brookes will entertain us with his snake-catcher experiences and advice. $20 per person and RSVP TO Sue M as usual. Drinks available at the bar. PLUS we have our upcoming changeover evening on Saturday July 10th. Family and guests welcome and it’s important to get your RSVP to Sue M at [email protected] before July 1st. We would appreciate if most of the payments for this evening are finalised before the night. Please email Sue M if you need bank details for a direct deposit. I have dredged up a photo from last year’s changeover, quite appropriate, seeing that Peter will be our chief!
