05.01.2022 As a Rotary club our mandate is to find ways to provide Service to our community, thus helping to make it healthier, happier and more vibrant for all. So when we became aware of the Laughing Club of Bondi Beach, and understood the positive impact it generates for the community in terms of boosting good mental health, social engagement and a host of other posititve social impacting ways, we naturally wanted to support this community project. After more than a year our collaboration with the Laughter Club of Bondi Beach has culminated in the production of this video. We hope that more people may find ways, such as these to generate joy and improved morale, via the gift of laughter.

01.01.2022 Along with the Royal Hospital for Women Foundation, we supported the establishment of Professor Bill Ledger's dream of establishing a public fertility clinic at the Royal Hospital for Women (Randwick). Professor Ledger is a world renowned leaders in the field of fertility. He once told us of why he wanted this to become a reality, simply, and in his own words: "There are people that would be great parents but could not afford the expensive rates of a fertility clinic. We s...hould help them..." We have recently found that they need a variety of specialised medical equipment, so we are delighted to announce that we have funded the delivery of a vital piece of medical equipment to the fertility clinic at the Roayal Hospital for women; as follows: Microfuge Unit: To be utilised in the Fertility & Research Centre laboratory, the microfuge uses centrifugal force to enable isolation of cells. This is essential for research into understanding the characteristics of the cells that support the eggs during development in fertility treatment.
