20.01.2022 Yesterday floods, today it was a plane crash. Such a rough, muddy, slippery drive into the accident scene. We went as far as we could. Further than most. We got... stuck in one place and had to winch ourselves out. Locals happy to help. Very remote. The scene was horrific. The worst thing I have ever seen. Out of respect for the families, I am not posting any photos of the victims. Nobody survived. It would have been impossible. The families will have their loved ones back to bury. Before leaving the scene we had to help pull another ambulance out of the mud. Thank goodness for the winch and strength of Catherine Ruth Riley-Bryans ambulance. The guys are in love with it. Jack too. Aod also. Bedtime now. I am so exhausted. Tomorrow is hopefully a quiet day. Things need to get done. See more
