25.01.2022 Judy Greer, Amy Hawker and President Gill Morgan packed the toiletries donated by Rotarians that will be heading to Watarrka in the Northern Territory. The kits are to help children with hand washing and personal cleanliness. The main cause of Trachoma is insufficient washing of hands and face with the resulting bacteria entering the eyes. Our club is the first to complete a kit for this project. Children from Point Lonsdale Primary School will be including letters to go in the toilet bags. Watarrka is 230 km west of Alice Springs.
