23.01.2022 Our club would like to thank MBRIT for their tireless support towards the up and coming Moreton kids Festival on Sunday the 18th October 2020. The COVIT 19 plan has passed QLD Health criteria and tickets will go on sale soon. Obviously numbers will be limited to meet the COVIT-19 plan. This promises to be a major event with a large uptake of kids enviro activities... program will be out soon.

23.01.2022 Our club's early morning Rotary meeting. How do we look..???. Haha Thanks to our guest speakers touching base and presenting an update on our rotary lead historical projects. In particular Redcliffe history, recent and not so recent, plus some anticipated works towards community beautification and use of the environment.

17.01.2022 MBRC has joined with other Councils to lower emissions in signing the City Power Partnership https://citiespowerpartnership.org.au/ This is a wonderful initiative of the new MBRC. The Rotary Club of Redcliffe Sunrise received a small District grant from the Rotary District of 9600 in 2019 to work with the other rotary clubs and the MBRC to encourage the council to sign up to his initiative of the Climate Council. 14.01.2022 C u at Suttons Beach North Redcliffe at 10am to 1pm 20th June Sunday to get a closer look at the marine life at our door step. The University of Queensland marine science students are on display to show all what is local and interesting. Citizen science is all about us and the students are here to help. It is low tide at this time and this will maximise your experience.

04.01.2022 Club members, partners and Rotary friends all came together today for our White Christmas pizza event very kindly organised by Kate. It was a fun time catching up with good friends, sending out a very A Merry White Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!

04.01.2022 Our club member, Ken is also the Commodore of the club associated with IYFR, The international yachting fellowship of Rotarians. The change over for Ken, third time, leading the QLD yachting fellowship was held today at the Royal Queensland Yacht Club, Manly. Covit safe environment

02.01.2022 Thank you Redcliffe Sunrise Rotary Club John Humbley the Salvos Just Brass Coordinator at Red life Salvos has approximately 30 mostly Primary School aged young people learning to play Brass instruments and percussion at the Salvos. This is a national youth music program and was commenced in February 2019 by Major Keith Hampton and John was employed as Childrens and Youth Ministry worker with the responsibility for Just Brass.... Donations of instruments was sought and regular giving to provide this program which helps youngsters with their overall learning skills as well as music! A presentation by President Hugh was made last week at the Redcliffe Salvos and John is hoping to personally attend to show his appreciation for Rotary’s Matching Grant.

01.01.2022 The Moreton Kids Festival featuring dozens of stalls, activities and different stages was a huge success with 7,500 people attending. Rotary Club of Redcliffe Sunrise were delighted to take part in the Green Kids zone which featured various activities and information about the environment. Many thanks to all volunteers and members who helped with the preparations and also who helped on the day. It was a hot day but one that was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.
