22.01.2022 FINALLY!!! It is DONE! This puzzle was hard. Seriously hard! You only got a backwards shot of what the scene was like from the perspective of the main character... make sense? Plus 3 clues that IMHO weren't much help at all. I started this puzzle with Ailee in April when we were looking for lockdown activities. ... And then it sat on my office floor, clients walked around it, the dog sat on it, but other than that it barely got noticed until about a week ago, when I suddenly had nothing to do! But what really gave me a kick up the butt was that the girls want their own rooms. Yes, they have been sharing a room (they will tell you how hard done by they are...) so that I can use the spare room as my office when I have face to face clients, which isn't alot because most of my client sessions are run online, but still it is handy to have the space for those local clients who prefer face to face. Aneeway, after a fair bit of pressure from Miss 13 I decided to make changes and move my office upstairs so they can each have a room. And that really was what got this puzzle done. I had a WHY and I had a DEADLINE. So it became a priority and got done. Not easy, but it was Simple! It reminded me of the time we were renovating a house for 3 years, until we decided we *really* didn't want to live next door to those neighbours any longer (some people have no morals!!! ) and we then managed to get the whole reno done and dusted in 3 weeks!! Again, it was a WHY and a hard DEADLINE. So, IF you want to bump something up your priority list, nail down your why, and give yourself a deadline with consequences, and you WILL get it done. #nlpmasterpractitioner #mbraining #headheartgut #changeyourmindchangeyourlife #focusonwhatmatters

06.01.2022 I am noticing how it makes me feel, watching the breaking news, the unashamed display of humanities' dark side. I notice the feelings of anxiety, the anger, the frustration, the latent untapped rage rumbling around looking for permission to latch on to a good cause... See, we all have a dark side. ... I manage to keep mine under control most of the time. I am sure I can't even imagine how dark I could be, given different circumstances. We are all human. I could allow it to sit, leave it to be a dark tangle of anxiety that spreads its tentacles with each reminder that I see on the news. But I know I have a choice. I know my core values. I know that treating others how I expect to be treated is within my control! I know that turning off the news and focusing on what is going on right here, right now, in my life and with those people that I am lucky enough to be surrounded by, is in my control. I know that I can control who I vote for and support, where I spend my money, what causes I donate to. I have so much control over the things that really make a difference in my life!! And I am so lucky that I have the control over whether I feed my dark side, or not.
