The group will run for approximately 60 minutes and will discuss concepts for a new toddler drowning prevention media campaign. 12.01.2022 Launceston Aquatic Centre staff braved the water at Cataract Gorge last week to update their Open Water Rescue Qualification. The "Gorge" is a retreat for locals and visitors to Launceston on warm summers days. Swimmers can bathe in the Gorge itself, or in the 25m recreation pools. 01.01.2022 Walter Butler, now age 4 from Hobart, is participating in weekly swim lessons after a scare at age 2 when he fell between two boats from a jetty. Walter’s mum, Bonnie, relived the horrific scene as she watched on from the side of the pool at the Tasmanian Keep Watch campaign launch this week in Hobart.
