20.01.2022 Prep for round 2 starts with a good clean.

17.01.2022 Contrasting emotions today started with high hopes and ended up covered in mud. A very long, cold and wet day. To many excursions to the in-field today. Not a bad way to shake down the new kart. Congrats to all the competitors officials and supporters for sticking it out all day today. Time to pull the hose out and give bessie a clean. Oh and we finished 17th . But bring on round 2 at lithgow . Congrats to big brother Maverick Kart number 1 for dominating and starting the season with big win well done guys.

04.01.2022 Bessie is ready to go for the next round which is in dubbo in just over a week. The team drove so hard a lithgow we broke the steering wheel . So the team has gone to a steering wheel we had way back when we got our first briggs powered kart, still looks good. The team is pumped for a 2 race weekend with saturday being a twillight event. Cant wait to get going again.

02.01.2022 Over the weekend the team ventured to lithgow for 6 hours of hard racing. It was the first hit out in the rig in the dry thankfully, and it felt good. It was also Sean's first sighting and drive of the new rig. In a massive field of around 40 teams, it was a busy day. After qualifying 11th and with the kart handling like a dream the team were in contention throughout the day with constant strategy changes to keep us in the mix. Unfortunately the team were caught with a pit issue which cost a few laps and with the field being mega fast and A grade soooooo competitive we couldnt get back to the podium and ended up 12th overall and 8th in class. It was awesome fun to be out there mixing it up with all the teams. We cant wait for dubbo and the state titles should be epic. #maverickkarts #TEKA
