22.01.2022 Not much activity on the old RS Aero QLD page recently. We have been overseas working on other projects and came back to a cyclone. All is good now, so my plan is to bring the demonstrator to sailing clubs when club racing is on. If you are keen for a visit to your club let me know. Next weekend I will be at the head of the River at Maroochydore Sailing Club

18.01.2022 So the decision to retain the Laser for 2024 by the MNA's to my eye seems short sighted. I know thousands of people have invested in the Laser, but it will be changed for subsequent Olympics soon regardless. For me the logic of switching to the Aero is simple. It is better built. It is more comfortable to hike on. It is easier to handle on the beach and on the water. The rig is more responsive and the controls are more effective, therefore it is easier to tune, so easier to s...ail and more suitable to a wider weight range of sailors and it is much more fun to sail. It is a better boat to put our young sailors into and more likely to retain those sailors. I love fanging around on it on big ocean swells. Of course if you aren't going to the Olympics there are the Worlds in Victoria here for the Aero. Should be fun. Boats are in stock. 10.01.2022 Twenty Aeros arrived last week, six immediately rigged and prepped for delivery by Rhett Gowans and James Grogan. Two will be heading to Adelaide to join Tabatha at Largs Bay S.C.

09.01.2022 An RS Aero 9 sailed the Head of the river at Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast today against all comers including 505's, Lasers', Pacers', Impulses', Tasers', Sabres' and a Sea Plane it seems. The Aero was the fastest boat, leading at every mark, but was beaten on rating by a brilliantly sailed Impulse, skippered by former 505 Australian Champion Phil Gray. Great fun.
