25.01.2022 RSPCA RON: R251000223 Our sweet girl Angel still hasn't found her new home :( Angel is a gorgeous 1-year-old, Female, Labrador Retriever/Great Dane Crossbreed. ... Angel is what we class as a special needs case and will need an experienced owner. She has a condition called Mico-opthalmia- This means that her eyeballs are small because they did not develop properly. In asymmetric cases, one eye may be able to see, and the other eye blind. This means that she may only see shadows. Angel is currently living in a foster home. Here she is learning how to socialise with children and other animals. She is also learning commands by clicker training which has been a great success. Once in a new home, Angel's owners will need to continue with her training to ensure that she stays a well-mannered dog. Her new family will need to have experience with dogs, and preferred experience with blind dogs. We have recommended no children under 6yrs of age due to her energy levels. We require that Angel meets the whole family before being adopted, and that the new family have another calm dog in their home to keep Angel company. If you think that you could give Angel the home that she craves, please call us on (02) 63626171 to book an appointment to meet her. Angel's adoption fee is $440. This includes desex, microchip, vaccinations, flea and worm treatment. You can also check out www.adoptapet.com.au for more information.

11.01.2022 RSPCA RON: R251000223 Introducing Ned! Ned is a big loveable boy, just waiting for his forever family to take him home. He a very handsome, 1 year and 11 month old, White and Tan, Bull Mastiff/Boxer crossbreed!... Being such a large dog, Ned could potentially knock any little ones over, so would need to be supervised around lighter individuals. But despite his size, Ned can be a very gentle boy! He walks very patiently on lead, but like a lot of dogs, he has his moments where he gets excited and can pull. Ned loves other dogs, but would need to meet any possible furry roommates prior to adoption to make sure they all get along well! He also isn't too fond of pockets pets and poultry, such as chickens, so would need to go to a home without either of these. Ned is used to being an outdoor dog, but will need plenty of enrichment and attention to keep him entertained throughout the day. He's also done a pretty good job of toilet training himself, so would love to spend some time with his family inside as well! If you're looking for a large, loveable companion to spend the afternoons hanging out with, then Ned may be the one for you! Please come down to the shelter today to meet him, you won't be disappointed! Ned’s adoption fee is $440. This includes desex, microchip, vaccinations, flea and worm treatment. 10.01.2022 RSPCA RON: R251000223 Introducing Tyson! Tyson is a stunning 1-Year-Old, Male, Fawn Brindle Husky/Greyhound Crossbreed. His unique look is sure to woo you over to meeting him, and he's got the personality to match!... Tyson is an energetic young lad, who will need plenty of walks to keep him happy and healthy. Due to having Husky in him, he will need plenty of mental stimulation to keep him entertained as well. This could be agility training or even something like noseworks! He can be a little jumpy when he meets people as he loves to interact so much. Because of this though, we don't recommend he go to a home with kids under the age of 6 years, as it is very easy for him to topple them over.
