15.01.2022 Testing a new hi-lo tee pattern with hood. Fabric turned out to be a bit disappointing. Online fabric choices are sometimes not what you imagined. But no problem for a wearable toile. I have a few pattern alts to make before my next sample. But overall happy with the outcome. What's everyone else been making this week?

14.01.2022 More results from my sewing session. A three-colour outsized tee. I've used a few of my Cotton and rayon two-way stretch jersey leftover pieces of fabric. It seems such a shame to waste any of you favourite fabrics, no matter how small. What do you do with smaller pieces of cloth left over from your projects?

11.01.2022 Second sample looking a bit better than the first. Cotton/linen blend for our hot summers. It's shorter because I only had 1.8m to work with. So this will be a tunic for me or a short dress for others. Still some minor tweaks and maybe a sleeve variation to test. I don't have a name for this style/design. Any ideas what I should call it?

06.01.2022 Now that the mask thing has calmed down a little I've been able to get loads of sewing under way. A few new tees, some trousers and a new dressing gown. What's everyone else sewing this weekend?

05.01.2022 First sample made, pattern modifications complete, and ready to cut a new sample. Fabric from the Ganmain Craft Cottage. I dropped the underarm point by 2cm, added 2.5cm through front bodice length for FBA and finessed the final length of the dress. Next sample will most likely be tunic length on account of a shorter piece of fabric. Stay posted for the next instalment.
