25.01.2022 An update on the deck, the deck area extended and all boards are in place. A new front step has been installed at a more user friendly height.

25.01.2022 So I finished putting this one together today. I'll start another one tomorrow.

24.01.2022 The little bathroom is moving along, we have stripped the room right back to the timber frame, turned the bath around and relocated the vanity to give a bit more space.

24.01.2022 After a big couple of days at Carnacoo we have removed the old timber floor, levelled both areas and have the pods and mesh in place in the dining hall.

24.01.2022 Here is an update on our project in Garfield St. It is all but finished now. But I hope your all like the changes.

23.01.2022 What a day, we started removing approximately 180 square metres of timber flooring from a hall. We are going to put concrete in it's place. So it was a big day on the tools. Not too mention there was a tree across the driveway before we even made it to the hall!

23.01.2022 Made a start on a deck this week. It has been extended by a metre and finished with EcoDeck. To finish off it will need some stairs, a roof and a screen.

21.01.2022 The last 5 cubic of concrete in the driveway today. Then onto putting the decking boards on the new deck and ramp.

20.01.2022 To those clients I have not been in contact with in the last few days, I am currently in hospital recovering from an operation. Once I am home I will be in contact but it is an 8 week recovery period. Sorry for any inconvenience.

20.01.2022 Another day and a different challenge. At 2 o'clock this afternoon we had a big hole in the wall and a door that was too big to fit. By 4.30 we had a NEW door and the hole was filled. One very happy customer and I know some window guys who will be getting a beer tomorrow.

19.01.2022 This floor has a slight problem.

19.01.2022 The deck is coming along nicely, the posts are in the extension has been started, with most of the joists in place. Very happy with the progress.

18.01.2022 The start of a new project, over the coming weeks this little number will get a facelift. It will get new boards, handrail get a bit wider, a covered section and something a little different on one end.

16.01.2022 First pour of the new driveway completed only 3 to go.

15.01.2022 A bit extra under cover parking never goes astray. Popped this one up today.

15.01.2022 A beautiful outdoor area ready to use but not quite finished, but usable. Ecodeck floor, treated pine framework stained Jarrah, with a grey tint laserlight roof. Looks like it will be a great addition for this family.

15.01.2022 So I spent the day putting the capping strips and flashings on, however the ones at the front of the house are a bit wide so I will change them.

14.01.2022 Pour number 3, one to go. So far we wheel barrowed 15 cubic metres into the backyard.

14.01.2022 Almost finished, just a coat of paint and a shower screen. This room is quite small at only 1.8 metres wide and 2.4 metres long. I'm fairly sure I've made it feel a bit bigger than it felt before. Now I just hope the owner likes what we have done.

14.01.2022 This poor old deck needs a facelift, just tearing up the old boards and replacing them with something that requires a bit less maintenance.

13.01.2022 It's been a while since I updated our progress at our Garfield St project. This job is the biggest we have undertaken to date but I think it has come a long way.

13.01.2022 One of the best features of working with Hardiedeck is that if you don't like the colour pop out the capping strips and repaint in a colour that you do like.

12.01.2022 Summer must be around the corner, this week I started another deck. Not a bad effort for a wet week.

11.01.2022 The deck is drawing to a close a couple of days and I should have it finished. As you can see there is a caged area at the end of the deck, this area will become a fully enclosed cat containment area, with climbing frames etc. You have to admire responsible pet owners.

11.01.2022 A few comparison shots of after demo and the beginning of construction. When I started this was a disused office space with wierd little rooms and funny little corners everywhere. Once we are finished it will be a modern three bedroom unit.

10.01.2022 I'm back at the deck I built a month or so ago and there is now a roof frame over it. Another couple of days and it will be ready for roof cladding.

10.01.2022 A small bathroom make I am working on at the moment. The plan was to future proof the bathroom, just to make things easier if help is required when showering later on. With a huge 1200x1200 shower base, a large shower head, a hand held shower, the mixer on the outside of the wet area and a bench to sit your change of clothes on. With these little features it should make life easier for years to come.

09.01.2022 Another update on our progress with this project. Most of the walls and ceilings are now plastered. Because this is a small building the owner opted to keep the majority of the ceilings high to make it feel bigger. However the three bedrooms are very spacious.

09.01.2022 It's been a bit of a process ripping up the old decking boards and replacing it with the modern look of Hardiedeck. Just adding the last touches, painting and flashings.

09.01.2022 On Friday the 22/2 we started a small bathroom makeover. With the promise to deliver a working bathroom by the 8/3. I'm fairly sure we delivered. With a few small finishing touches the client now has a the bathroom they dreamed of.

08.01.2022 The deck from last week continues with a coat of paint, the first one I have painted which is not a shade of grey, which is refreshing. By the end of the week it will be finished with the top caps and flashings.

08.01.2022 This project is making a massive difference to this home and changing the owners life.

08.01.2022 A new week and a new job. The old driveway was breaking up and a concrete ramp and raised walkway looking very ordinary. Will soon be a new driveway and a deck area.

07.01.2022 Although the other bathroom is not quite finished, I had to start the next one, demo has been done and will start putting it all back together tomorrow. Thanks to Timothy Wood for his help today we made great progress.

07.01.2022 Day 2 of pouring concrete, now the backyard is all finished. 2 pours to go, and a deck to complete.

07.01.2022 All ready for the new floor on Friday

06.01.2022 Just over three weeks ago we started a bathroom renovation. We just finished it today another very happy home owner.

05.01.2022 11 days and the change is spectacular. About 50 square metres of deck will make a massive difference to how these people live. It's not finished by a long shot but at least they can use it.

04.01.2022 So another little job I have been working on for the past month is a deck extension. It doesn't sound like much but I added 600mm to the width of this deck so over a 10 metre length it adds 6 square metres. In addition to the extra width we added a new glass panel balustrade and handrail. Another very grateful and happy customer.

04.01.2022 As I mentioned yesterday I finished one deck, today I smashed out this little number. So this one is at the front of the building, to give the feel of continuity through the home.

03.01.2022 Started a new bathroom renovation this morning, by lunchtime we had it stripped back to bare frame and ready to go back together.

03.01.2022 Well it's been a big morning at Carnacoo, 33 cubic metres of concrete poured to create a new floor throughout the main building. Ok so there was a bonus of BBQ steak for lunch.

02.01.2022 Another walk thru update at our project in South Launceston. Demo is all but complete and construction has started on internal walls.

02.01.2022 Handrail is complete, there is a full height screen at one end. But wait there is a big open area what's that about? Wait and see.
