11.01.2022 1. POSITIVE CHANGE - Our job as therapists is to help find deficiencies in your mobility and improve them. How are we going to know if there has been an improvement if we dont assess in the first place and reassess to check that it has worked. 2. A TAILORED TREATMENT - Assessment helps us to identify underlying structures or regions in your body that are contributing to your symptoms. We can then create a treatment plan specific to these needs to help you improve faster.... 3. CAN WE TREAT? As therapists we are taught about red flags, times when we should not treat or refer on. If we arent assessing we cant identify these types of symptoms and risk causing harm. This is why assessment an is ESSENTIAL part of EVERY treatment. See more

09.01.2022 Our infection control standards are in alignment with the WHO protocols. These include: 1. The use of clean linen for each appointment... 2. Tables are disinfected after each patient. 3. A thorough hand washing protocol for all therapists with Hospital grade soap and sanitizer. You safety is our main concern throughout this period but we want to ensure you know that it is still safe to come and receive treatment from one of our friendly team.

06.01.2022 Education is key to understanding your body and what it needs. Who you choose on your health team can make all the difference. Here are a few tips to choose your Remedial Massage Clinic. 1. QUALIFIED REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPISTS - There is massage and then there is massage! Choosing a massage therapist with a minimum of a Diploma of Remedial Massage means you get someone who understands how the body works and can tailor a treatment to your needs. 2. ASSESSMENT - ...If your therapist is not doing a thorough assessment prior to you getting onto the table, how are they able to truly identify the deficiencies in your mobility and choose a treatment plan that will help you improve. 3. COLLABORATION - Generally, if you are not getting better after a few sessions something isnt working and massage may not be the only thing you need to get better. Collaborating with additional Allied Health Practitioners is a great way to get a diagnosis and better direction for your treatment plan. Remedial massage therapists should have an established network of other allied health practitioners they can refer you to if needed. Reading through a clinics website, checking reviews and their online presence is one way to research this sort of thing. Make sure you ask when you book in with a new therapist about their qualifications. See more
