20.01.2022 "While the day was filled with many memorable moments, one of my favourite moments would have to have been mingling with our guests during cocktail hour before our reception started. It was a gorgeous, balmy night and everyone was enjoying canapes and cocktails on Carousels sprawling deck, high in anticipation for the night which was about to get underway. It was really one of those moments where I looked around at our whole vision which had come to life and almost had to pi...nch myself that we were finally there!" - our lovely bride Stef. Along with a few Italian traditions they have incorporated into their day, Stef and Steve and their family and friends surely knows how to party and make the day their own. The ribbon/streamer dance, for example, is a tradition that Stef has been mesmerised by since she was a little girl attending weddings and it sure added that fun flair to the night. 19.01.2022 Designing a stunning colour palette was one of the key factors we focused on when planning Stef + Steve's wedding. The focus was for the palette to transcend throughout the day, one that would make a lasting impression on their guests. We used nudes, terracotta, hues of latte to create an elegant Tuscan vibe. 11.01.2022 We are always honoured when couples choose us as stylists for their wedding day. We take great joy in balancing their vision with the intricate details and creative design that produces a space especially designed for those beautiful moments you'll remember for a lifetime. It all starts with a colour palette, a moodboard and a few sketches of ideas weaving together with details that we get to know about our couples like Stef and Steve. These ideas then get pitched t...o the team like @studiosilva_ and @ivy_and_eve , for this instance, who (to name a few) made the concept come to life. This multilayered seating plan stood by the entrance to Carousel. Every element was carefully chosen to make sure that this installation served as a grand welcome to guests and a teaser of what's to come inside the main hall. The floral installation above the dance floor came from the idea when Stef and Steve mentioned that they loved how Carousel opens up to the lake. We wanted guests to walk in and draw their eyes from the installation and out to the water where they enjoyed drinks and canapes and of course, the view. The use of mesh weaved into the florals was a way to add texture and also a subtle nod to tie in the metal arch made by Steve himself.
