20.03.2022 After a lot of planning and going back and forth with engineers, the acrylic pool window is finally fitted to the lap pool of our French Provincial house design. The process was relatively simpler than I’d imagined, but still took 5 hours from start to finish. The very capable installer, Justin Dyke from Aquaplex fits these all over Australia as well as some in south east Asia. He also manages to fit in being a professional portrait photographer. 01.03.2022 Work on our French Provincial design progresses with the concrete spraying of the lap pool. All up, it took nearly 42 cm of concrete to do the floor and fill the concrete masonry walls. The work was carried by specialist pool sprayer, Greg Clapham from south east Qld. What sits this pool apart is the 60mm thick acrylic pool window in one end, a first in our 40 years of building design. The poly styrene rebate was burnt out ready fitting of the acrylic pool window next week. Hooper Constructions Pty Ltd
