24.01.2022 One of the things I always struggle with are speed sessions. They are uncomfortable and hard. But I never regret doing them. 20.01.2022 Melbourne Marathon Fever has hit. This will be my 6th year Im participating and the first time Ill be running the 10km. Its been a blast watching everyone prep for this day. Some of you will be running your first marathon and there is nothing more exciting than crossing that finish line as a marathon runner. 19.01.2022 Injuries are not fun. We have all been there and experienced the frustrations of not being able to get out and run Its also a reminder of how important strength training is for running So off to the gym I went. After 11 weeks of recovery and strengthening my I ran my first 10km run. Super excited to be finally planning the rest of the year. Recovering from injuries has taught me that I need to be patient and trust the process. And most importantly, learn to adapt. Happy Monday

16.01.2022 Running is something I want to continue doing long term. Im talking decades down the track. The only thing that will hold me back from being able to go the distance will be if I dont listen to my body and dont continue to incorporate strength and recovery. Listen to your body. If youre injured, dont ignore it. If you are super fatigued have a rest day. If you are sick maybe alter your training session. Most importantly be kind to yourself.
