17.01.2022 Were truly excited to announce that the Rural Hinterland Visitor Information Centre is open for business!! Our friendly volunteers are waiting to welcome you to Biloela, and the Banana Shire, the same as always, but a few changes have been implemented to ensure we all remain COVID Safe. These changes include increased cleaning of the centre and associated facilities, the implementation of social distancing practices, the placement of instructional signage, the limitation on ...numbers able to access specific areas, etc. When visiting us please sanitise your hands upon entry to the main reception area, and then make your way to the main desk so that your name, residential address and contact number can be entered into a Contact Tracing Register. This information will be kept on file for a period of 28 days, before being destroyed. When visiting us please practice social distancing when and where possible and follow any directions from our volunteers with respect to this. Please note that limits apply . . . 20 people are allowed in the centre at any one time. When viewing the brochures and souvenirs we ask that you refrain from touching items that you do not intend to take with you/purchase. When making a purchase please go contactless if possible. And, please do not visit us if you are feeling unwell and displaying COVID-19 symptoms . . . seek medical advice and isolate.
