09.01.2022 During our Management Fundamentals class, RBS and JCU Brisbane students got very creative in constructing a tower as high as possible using only 20 spaghetti stick, 1 meter of masking tape, 1 meter of string and 1 marshmallow within 18 minutes. This is a great activity for students for design thinking to practice prototyping in testing and also building a strong and health relationship. The finished structure must support a marshmallow on top and be fully freestanding and the team with the tallest stand-free structure wins.

08.01.2022 Last week, we held our first Food and Beverage Training Workshop for the year! Food and Beverage Training Workshops are a valuable asset for students wanting to pursue a career in hospitality post-graduation and occur regularly via Joblinx. Thank you to everyone who attended, we hope the training workshop was insightful and youre able to put your new skills into practice.

03.01.2022 Several students from SRI and RBS joined Rebekah at the second annual Raise Your Voice Choir Festival on the weekend. They met students from other language schools around Brisbane and got the opportunity to work with Australian performers in community choirs. This culminated in a brilliant performance on Sunday at the Southbank Piazza. Students have been preparing for months with Laura and Rebekah, and they had a wonderful weekend of song and friendship. We hope to see more staff and students joining us next year!
