13.01.2022 Important announcement As we mentioned to many people over the past week and yesterday at the market, we will have limited supplies of fresh pork for sale due to the Victorian Government’s COVID-19 restrictions on abattoirs This is because the abattoirs are required to reduce processing by a third and therefore preferencing large scale industrial pig farmers over small scale free range pig farmers like us. ... Perfect example as to why we need more local or farm based abattoirs so that this doesn’t happen. This is how we achieve food security in our community. Top tip is to join Australian Food Sovereignty Alliance to support farmers and change the food system This means that next weekend will most likely be your last chance for a while to get your hands on our fresh pork. If you are after something in particular send us a private message and we’ll check what we have and can arrange to put aside for you to collect next Saturday at the Albury Wodonga Farmers Market Thanks for all of your support
