If you're using an email supplied from your phone/internet provider (bigpond from Telstra as an example), you would lose access if you changed providers. Losing access would mean losing contacts and important information. Perhaps the one you've been using doesn't fit the season of life you're currently in, isn't as professional as you'd like or is simply inundated with spam and junk mail. If so, today is the day to create a new one. Gmail and Outlook are great options to go with. This is a clear example of poor workmanship when the installers don't have the right tools to do the work or a rushed job, leading to no input signal from the antenna. You can see the connector on the input is circular in shape in comparison with all the connectors which are hexagon in shape. We recommend that at a minimum you have a separate, unique password for email accounts (as they can be used to reset password for other accounts), and anything else that is important such as work, banking, etc.... Here our our top tips for creating a good password: 8 characters minimum The longer the better, length is more important than complexity. Think passphrase instead of password. Easy to remember It’s not just about security, a password is not good if you can’t remember it. Nothing personal Don’t include any personal information. This includes parts of names, birthdays, phone numbers, etc. Unique to you If it’s possible someone else in the world may be using the same password, it’s not a good password. Brand new Do not reuse old passwords. Only for you No one else should know your password. If someone else knows it you should change it. 01.01.2022 DAY 4: Turn on MFA Gaining access to accounts by weak or compromised passwords is very common. Multi-factor security means services use more than one thing to confirm it’s actually you accessing the account. Instead of just a password, you’ll be required to enter a separate code (often from an app, or texted to you) when logging on. This second factor means a hacker would need both your password and that code, making your account that much harder to access.... Banks have been using this for some time but in recent years many other services now often it (or in some cases, require it). If given the option always opt to turn it on.
