18.01.2022 The ICAC fears maladministration and serious misconduct could still be rife within SA Health. www.7NEWS.com.au #7NEWS
18.01.2022 Good work Connie. Keep up the good work.
18.01.2022 The State Government must not sell off the taxpayer-owned infrastructure including temporary grandstands and walk bridges used during the Adelaide 500 car r...ace until after the 2022 state election. Whether the race returns to the streets of Adelaide will be a major election issue in 2022 so any attempts to sell the infrastructure before then will be a waste of taxpayers’ money. SA-BEST urges the State Government to act rationally and not have a fire sale of the equipment used to run the Adelaide 500 until after the next state election in March 2022. The State Government doesn’t own the infrastructure the taxpayers of South Australia do. The State Government’s decision to axe the race has nothing to do with the COVID-19 pandemic as the government will have us all believe and has everything to do about short-sighted, penny-pinching desperation. It defies logic that an event that generates such an economic boost for the state can be axed. I urge the Premier to listen to the people and reverse his decision.
17.01.2022 Good work Frank
15.01.2022 Today in State Parliament I spoke about growing fears among clinicians that the world-renowned reputation of our iconic Women’s and Children’s Hospital is under... threat. While this government pushes ahead with its election promise to build a new Women’s and Children’s Hospital at a cost the taxpayers of this state can probably ill-afford in the current COVID-19 environment it is allowing the current Women’s and Children’s Hospital to run into a state of ruin. When 215 doctors who work at the Hospital take the unprecedented action of signing a letter outlining their concerns about the state of the hospital, alarm bells should be ringing. These are some of this state’s most gifted and highly skilled medicos who have dedicated their lives to saving the lives of countless woman and children. They are part of a strong alliance which has formed to voice the critical problems that they and their colleagues are facing on a daily basis working at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Let’s not sugar-coat things here. They have warned us that babies and children have died because of a lack of clinical services and equipment at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. 15.01.2022 There's a fresh push for drivers caught under the influence of drugs to be stripped of their licence immediately after detection. Do you think it’s a good idea? #9News | Nightly at 6.00pm
13.01.2022 Some of South Australia's most experienced medicos are tonight sounding alarm bells over the Women's and Children's Hospital. #9News
12.01.2022 Today in State Parliament I detailed why the Attorney-General Vickie Chapman’s real time fuel monitoring proposal is a dud that she herself says could drive... up prices. The alternative is a model tried and proven over 20 years that will give motorists a fair go as it will allow them to buy fuel at a set, capped price for a 24-hour period.
12.01.2022 Today in State Parliament I questioned the Minister for Health over deeply troubling reports about the plight of a young homeless mum who was allegedly discharg...ed from an Adelaide public hospital two days after giving birth without having a place to live. The Minister couldn't confirm whether SA Health had been able to track down the woman - although he suspects they may have
12.01.2022 All reports the State Government has received about saving the heritage-listed Waite Gatehouse at Urrbrae from bulldozers must be immediately released. I want t...o know how the government can announce it is going to raze an historically-important building owned by the University of Adelaide without first acquiring the land and consulting with it about the move an issue strongly condemned by the University’s Vice Chancellor, Mike Brooks. As part of the widening of the Cross and Fullarton roads intersection, Infrastructure and Transport Minister, Corey Wingard, last week announced an independent report by structural engineers, FMG, had led the government to make its decision to demolish the unique styled Gatehouse - built 120 years ago and part of an enormous bequest to the University by Peter Waite in 1914. Minister Wingard also announced $2m in funding to heritage groups as a consoling gift for his decision something Frank described as little more than a bribe to conservation groups in order to avoid an angry public backlash. Reading his independent report, there was nothing I could find that recommended the building be demolished. It merely assessed the risks to the building for a potential shift to a nearby location - but agreed it was a feasible proposition.

10.01.2022 Please continue to hold the government accountable Connie!
09.01.2022 Great work Frank - keep up the great work.
07.01.2022 We were initially told the review into the four baby deaths in four weeks would take between two and four weeks that was six weeks ago! The delay is completel...y and utterly unacceptable. The Minister and/or SA Health can try to behind the COVID-19 pandemic and the fact their resources may be stretched but that’s no excuse We are dealing with families who have experienced the most unimaginable of tragedies the heart-breaking and potentially avoidable death of their baby. We can never lose sight of that. My heart goes out to all of them as the parent of a young child myself, I can’t begin to imagine the heartache. They deserve to have answers to the many questions they must have. They deserve to know whether their baby would still be alive today had the WCH had a paediatric cardiac surgery unit. And we must ensure there are not more unavoidable baby deaths for the very same reason. This is not about politics. This shouldn’t be about money. This should be about saving babies lives.
07.01.2022 What a great initiative by the RAA. Looks like you had a lot of fun Connie.
04.01.2022 The State Government's preferred fuel watch model is a dud for motorists. But don't take my word for it, take it from the Attorney-General herself.
02.01.2022 Residents in Adelaide's north say they've been forced to live with constant noise and pollution from the new Northern Connector, which now cuts through their backyards. #9News | Nightly at 6.00pm
