16.01.2022 I love gifting surprise cakes! This special creation was made for the amazing staff at Mary MacKillop school - the community we've been a part of for the past 8 years. Last week we made the big decision to move on from there, moving the youngest to join his siblings, to simplify life a little. This cake was just a small token of thanks to the people who have played a huge part in the upbringing of these 4 awesome humans. The cake - flourless dark chocolate & raspberry and white chocolate & coconut mud - it was well received!

10.01.2022 Yesterday my gorgeous friend had a birthday and every year the challenge is to make a cake more fabulous than the year before! The photos don't pick up the colour properly but this little creation is rose gold on the outside and topped with a pretty pale pink peony. Inside is layers of lime & toasted coconut, pistachio & lemon and raspberry cake filled with lemon curd and raspberry buttercream. A nice ending to our Asian dinner party.

03.01.2022 So this happened.... After many years of baking cakes as a hobby, it's time to get serious and spend a lot more time doing what I love most.

Vanilla Spiced Baked Cheesecake made with creamy ricotta & warm spices of cinnamon & nutmeg. And of course there's my famous Dark Chocolate Raspberry Brownies - everyone's favourite!
