19.01.2022 Playing musically needs good mastering of dynamics. This is an excellent video explaining all the markings you've been puzzled about (or do you really know what to do with "sfz" or "callando"?). Understanding it the starting point for mindful practising. Enjoy!

01.01.2022 A burnt toast somewhere in the building and the fire alarm went off at the moment my students' concert was about to begin, so we had to evacuate and improvise. We used the adjacent Balinese Garden. A beautiful setting with many mozzies and a slightly compromised sound. But it was still a lot of fun. Well done, everyone!
