17.01.2022 Thx Matt for your commitment and support in making this happen.

17.01.2022 I attended International Men’s Day organised by an amazing woman Bec Forrest. Men shared their insights, successes and stories of troubled times. Young people spoke about their aspirations. Met Tick Everett who lost his daughter Dolly to Suicide. His talk was moving on many levels, but he showed great courage. My friend Matt from Mates encouraged men to reach out to their mates and for all of our to seek help when in need. MATES in Construction

10.01.2022 Great post Ngaree Ah Kit. We hope more momentum will be generated as a result of the forum, to build on what is already happening across the sector. Stronger leadership, more communication and collaboration across the sector came out as key areas to be built on, amongst others.

10.01.2022 #MAKINGTIME | 2020 has been a difficult year. Bushfires, floods, #COVID19 and the summer period now upon us may be taking a toll on our mental health. Australia...ns living with a mental illness or mental ill health and their families and carers have told us that one thing that has helped them through difficult moments is making time for what matters to them. Today we are proud to launch #MakingTime an initiative championed by people with lived experience, calling on you to share what you have made time for during tough moments or what you will make time for during the summer period. Everyone’s experience is different, and so too is what helps us get through, but what we make time for matters and can positively impact on our mental health. What are you #MakingTime for this summer? Find out how you can get involved www.nmhcmakingtime.com.au Read our full statement www.mentalhealthcommission.gov.au/makingtime
