24.01.2022 Some more good news- the WA border will open on 15th Nov ! Residents from all states can enter WA but those from NSW and VIC (only these 2 states) will have to self quarantine for 2 weeks. Hopefully as numbers drop there too, this will change and all Australians will be able to enter WA without restrictions.

23.01.2022 Captain Starlight may have been a thief but he pulled off a truly remarkable feat, especially when you consider Burke & Wills ill- fated expedition was only 9 years earlier ! This year marks 150 years since the famous cattle heist. Captain Starlight is one of the many outback legends you'll hear about on our 11 day Legendary Outback Tracks tour along the Oodnadatta, Strzelecki and Birdsville Tracks.

20.01.2022 A lovely feature piece and Kakadu and the Top End this week in Take 5 Magazine !

20.01.2022 Great news- the 3rd and final humpback whale that entered into the East Alligator River about a week ago, has finally left the river and back into the ocean. It appears in good health too, which is just fantastic news. I have to admit i had been worrying about it so i'm very happy with this great news.

20.01.2022 It’s sometimes easy to miss what’s around us. Now, especially, is a good time to stop and reflect on the beauty we have around us and the good things in life. Putting his camera away and taking a moment to soak it all in, in this photo of the Pilbara, is Andrew Goodall. 17.01.2022 There's a lot of negativity and sadness in the world at the moment, so i thought i would finish the week with a positive story about what amazing things 1 person can achieve. And that person can be any of us.

17.01.2022 I just love the haunting whistling cry of the whistling kite- it always make me stop and look up. This beautiful photo of a whistling kite was taken in the Top End by Andrew Goodall of @naturesimagephotography #birdsofinstagram #birds #birdphotography #birdlovers #whistlingkite #kites #birdsofprey #nature #naturephotography #graceful #sacredearthsafaris #natureiswonderful

15.01.2022 Birdsville may be on the edge of desert country but that doesn’t mean there’s no bird life ! This photo was taken by David Minty at Birdsville Billabong in October last year. #pelicans #pelicansofinstagram #cormorant #bird #birdsofinstagram #birds #birdphotography #birdsville #outbackaustralia #outback #outbacksouthaustralia #birdwatching #birdwatchers #sacredearth #diamantina #outbackqueensland

15.01.2022 Dingoes get a bad rap but they're beautiful animals and non-aggressive if left alone. The problem is nowadays some people want that perfect "selfie", and feed wild animals so they get it. This makes the animal aggressive when they don't get what they've become used to. This group had a lovely experience with a dingo, without feeding or interacting with it in any way...and that's the way it should be. Wild animals are exactly that...wild.

14.01.2022 This is quite hypnotic. Thanks to the Land Down Under for sharing.

10.01.2022 Well hello there...happy wednesday !

10.01.2022 Happy Halloween everyone !

10.01.2022 They wanted to do a good job of this doorstop at William Creek Hotel, on the Oodnadatta Track. 07.01.2022 As the sun sets on another working week, we finish with a beautiful sunset in Broome. Photo taken by Andrew Goodall of Nature’s Image a Photography. 07.01.2022 Now this is a waterfall ! wow ! Dip Falls in the NW of Tassie, after recent rains. Just awesome ! The last time we were there , it had plenty of water flowing down it but not as much as this.

07.01.2022 I would be very scared if this happened to me ! Thankfully, canoeing in the Top End is only allowed in Katherine, on the river, once park rangers have checked there are no crocs around. They do a great job in keeping us safe, so this kind of thing doesn't happen.

06.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day to all the Dad's out there.

03.01.2022 Hands up if you’re happy to be at Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre ? I think that’s a yes from Cathy Whitson, who sent us this photo from the lake while on tour with us last year. It really is a special sight to see and now is the perfect opportunity to travel to the amazing places we have in Australia, subject to travel restrictions. At least you don’t have to worry about social distancing out here ! We’ll be back there in October, during our 11 day outback South Australia tour, and... can’t wait to breathe in that fresh outback air. @southaustralia @flindersrangesandoutback @williamcreekhotel @marreehotel #seesouthaustralia #outback #outbacksouthaustralia #outbackaustralia #lakeeyre #jumpforjoy #happydays #happy #happyday #socialdistance #seeaustralia #amazingplaces #welivetoexplore #neverstopexploring #instapic #instaphoto #travelphoto #travelvibes #traveldeeper #sacredearthsafaris #outbacktour #bestintravel #southaussiewithcosi #duesouth #goexplore See more

02.01.2022 yup- your eyes are not deceiving you...there is snow in the Flinders Ranges ! What a strange year 2020 is turning out to be.

02.01.2022 For all you Rev heads out there !

01.01.2022 If you're not confident in your 4WD'ing skills, are a bit worried about travelling through remote regions on your own or just want to sit back, relax and let someone else take care of everything for you so you can enjoy the holiday.......then take one of our tours in Outback Australia. In 2021, we have departures to the Kimberley, Pilbara, Kakadu and Top End, Red Centre, across the Nullarbor, visiting the wildflowers of WA and through Outback South Australia and the Flinders ...Ranges. All our tours are accommodated, we have a COVID plan following Government guidelines, plus our own extra hygiene measures in place and crew have been trained as COVD Marshals/ supervisors. Don't get in a sticky (or muddy) situation- that's not what holidays are about ! Let us take care of everything for you, while you relax and enjoy exploring one of these beautiful parts of Australia. We are truly the lucky country !
