24.01.2022 Spot on! Jan Winslade
22.01.2022 Hi! I haven’t introduced myself in a LONG while and so I felt to say hi I am the energy behind Sacred Transitions. I have been practicing yoga, meditation and reiki for over 20 years.... Even after all that time I learn something new about the practice, and myself, almost every day. I am heading into 2021 with a sense that things are going to be very different but how that might manifest I don’t know. I am reminding myself to stay open, flexible and playful (as much as possible). I grieve. I know grief. My dad died 9 years ago. My mum died 3 years ago. I am a mother and step-mother I am a partner in love and life. It is SO nice to finally meet you
21.01.2022 Take up space. Be brave and stand strong in your space - whether it’s the place you occupy in this world, in your family, in your work, in your mind, in your heart. Do not be afraid to take up space. It’s your space.
21.01.2022 Good morning! However you are feeling today take a moment to think of one small thing you are grateful for. It won’t change everything but it will shift a little something, the effects of which you might notice tomorrow or in a couple of weeks or maybe in a few months. Regardless of the time frame have faith it will help.... #gratitude #sacredtransitions #dailysadhana #morningmeditation

Thank you Inspired by yoga for sharing this #heartrevolution #heartcentredliving #dailysadhana #goalsandintentions #sacredtransitions
18.01.2022 Happy international day of yoga and winter solstice
17.01.2022 Read it again - and again - and again. Say it out loud. This is a meditation and reflection.... If we are unhappy with a situation but we do nothing about it.... then on some level we choose to keep it in our lives. Challenging it does not have to mean a grand act but sometimes it’s in the little acts of rebellion that we show we choose something different. What do you choose? @thecentreofhealing_somerville thanks for sharing
16.01.2022 You, my beautiful friend, are enough!
16.01.2022 Today is the Summer solstice.... the longest day of the year and a very powerful time energetically. It is a time when we are more open to energies in other dimensions. This year it is particularly powerful.... We have the ‘Great Conjunction’ taking place. This occurs about once every 20 years when Jupiter and Saturn align. This represents a shift in perspective and living. This year it is even more potent because Jupiter and Saturn align in the sign of Aquarius.... signifying us stepping into the Age of Aquarius (well and truly). The last time a Great Conjunction like this happened was about 200 years ago. This event provides us with new opportunities and potential. It also aligns us with a community-minded way of living. Apparently the last time the energy was so potent was around the birth of Jesus.... so that’s pretty full on. If there are things that are niggling you to work on - do it now. If you are seeking a connection with higher energy now is the time to sit in stillness. I am no expert on these matters.... but after reading a little I am fascinated to see what 2021 brings.
14.01.2022 This is too true! Yoga does not ask you to wear trendy clothes or own fancy equipment. It does not ask you to be a certain size or weight. It does not ask that you have flexibility even.... All yoga asks is that you show up and be present with your own being. That you meet yourself wherever you are and start from that place. That you tune in to your body, mind and emotions and work with what comes up. Yoga class is back next week every Wednesday 5:30-6:30pm at Happy Pants 1549 Message to book your place!
14.01.2022 Days like this
13.01.2022 Did you know that practicing Surya Namaskar - Salute to the Sun - is a whole practice in itself? It is a full body workout. It strengthens all the systems of the body. It is also a meditative practice and cultivates warmth and vitality.... If you only have 10 mins a day to move Surya Namaskar can be a great choice!
12.01.2022 Thank you to the lore keepers and to everyone who is a part of this intention. Thank you to @calmheartyoga for sharing this

09.01.2022 Exactly! Yoga is for everybody and every-body! Yoga is a practice for every culture, religion, language, age, stage, gender..... the list goes on.... Yoga asks that you cultivate self-awareness and self-understanding. It does not ask you to believe in anything but your SELF and even then it asks that you stay open to the possibility that maybe even your SELF will surprise you (if you allow it). Yoga asks for commitment and discipline but only in a way that works for you. Yoga asks for you to treat others with the same respect you may afford yourself, but that you learn to treat yourself respectfully first. Yoga asks you to find steadiness and comfort in every ‘seat’ you take - whether physical, psychological, emotional or spiritual. Yoga asks you only as much as you are willing to embody and allow. It is a practice. It is NOT a religion or dogma or law. It is a tool to support you in your life. Yoga is more than just physical postures and poses, just as you are more than just your body!
09.01.2022 Thank you @paulocoelho Well said!
06.01.2022 Our bodies change CONSTANTLY. Every stage and age in our life brings with it changes. This is natural. It is normal.... As we move and practice and choose our healthy habits we also need to cultivate a level of self-awareness and understanding to adapt our choices and practices to what we need right now. We need to meet ourselves in this moment.... rather than making choices based on what we were 10 years ago or what we hope we might be in the future.
